The magic sci-fi compass continued to lead me towards somewhere, however after reaching a certain point, the arrow began pointing downwards closer to the ocean's depths.

For someone like me, who had mostly enjoyed the surface level of the ocean so far, the abyss the arrow pointed to felt more like leading towards certain death. However, I overcame my reservations and continued to follow the arrow.

"I just hope that shitty god know's what he's doing." I sighed.

If something happens, I'm holding him responsible, since he guided me to that orb for this, anyway.

After what felt like days or weeks? I slowly lost track of time as I continued deeper into the abyss, where no light shone.

Only the glow of the compass in my hand kept me from falling into total insanity.

"Just what is at the bottom of this place anyway!?" I thought to myself.

What felt like ten weeks of journeying went by before I finally came upon my destination.

As before me light shone out of nowhere and a big great city encased within a bubble appeared.

As I swam further towards this mysterious city, several creatures appeared and surrounded me.

Taking a more in-depth look at them, I realized they were all Mermen!

They had the upper body of a human, but the lower half of a fish!

What's more, these particular fellows looked like guards.

As I observed their facial expressions I could see their resolute gazes.

All except one looked ready to skewer me alive with their flashy looking tridents.

The one person who didn't seem to want to kill me, instead looked like he just about wet his pants upon seeing me.

Hmm. Maybe this guy could tell something about me? Like sense my aura or read my stats?

MC's can't be the only ones with that kind of power, right?

As I amused myself in thought towards this situation, I finally had my mind brought back to reality as one of the mermen shouted at me.

"Hey, I'm talking to you, you dumb snake! I asked you what you're doing here?!" The merman guard with a certain dictator's mustache on his face yelled furiously.

I didn't like that guys attitude (and his stache made me think he wasn't a good person anyways) so I decided to play a little prank on him.

"My apologies, I am not used to talking to an ant." I replied while releasing just a tiny bit of Tyrant's Pressure, my passive skill.

The guard looked about ready to give an angry response, but then he showed a look of fear and horror on his face that suited him quite well.

I couldn't help but let out a bit of a chuckle.

Until a loud voice boomed from within the city.

"Who dares to bully my men?!" An angry old man voice sounded.

After the voice faded, a large figure appeared.

A Merman with a royal appearance appeared out of nowhere.

The man took one look at the situation in front of him, with a quiet atmosphere forming, and then suddenly, his body trembled before he meekly spoke.

"My apologies, your excellency. I had eyes, yet failed to see such a magnificient creature such as yourself was in front of me. Please, spare my subordinantes and allow me to take on their punishments."

I was confused at first, this guy obviously looks like the king of this place, yet now after speaking so high and mighty, he's trembling like a little baby?

Then I remembered that one person who was trembling before as well.

I wonder if there's some sort of skill or ability that let's one see their opponents strength?

Either way, this works for me.

"Hmm. So, this worm in front of me thinks he can be an appropriate substitute for pests disturbing me?" I spoke in a loud and mighty manor.

Although I felt like cringeing, I tried my best to keep a straight face and continued on with the act. This was the best method to get what I want without making the place reek of iron.

"O-Of course not! Your excellency, in fact, I was merely jesting, you are free to do as you wish to these insolent fellows!" The man replied while his pale skin turned even paler.

I couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle that completely spooked all the people present.

"Very well. I shall be little lenient as these fools did not know what they were doing. However, as compensation for this incident, I hope your Majesty could give me a tour of your most peculiar city?" I asked.

"O-Of course I can! I'll even give you the city if you wish!" He replied.

"That is not neccessary, I only wish to make a quick visit before heading off towards my next destination." I replied.

Like hell I want your city. I appreciate my freedom, you hear?

After that, the king, who's name was apparently Poseidos, after the original sea god Poseidon, asked about my bodies giant size.

I couldn't help but give a big grin as I made some quick adjustments to the human form I used earlier and then suddenly a big vortex spun around me as I transformed before their very eyes into a Merman.

The vortex was not needed, I admit, I only did it for an extra flair to make them more awed at the scene, and it feels like when someone is getting dressed, so It's kind of embarrassing.

After that, everyone couldn't help but be speechless as they realized the kind of monster they were dealing with.

Oh yeah, as an added bonus, unlike my human form, my stats aren't limited to half of what it normally is, well, it is limited, but not by as much as the human form.

I guess it's because Merfolk a naturally stronger?

Even though I can still be considered inhuman in terms of stats regardless of the race.

Well, it makes it easier for me, so who cares.

Anyway, after everyone regained their senses from the shock, we all began preparing the grand tour of the undersea city!
