Chapter 19: Vs Abyssal Lord.

Seeing those red eyes staring with deep hostility towards, really took me by surprise, but then I remembered Adella's story about the ancient Leviathan.

I see, so this guy still remembers something from so long ago? That's kinda annoying.

Do something better with your life if you have the ability to do something so useless like that.

As I cautiously watched the so-called Abyssal Lord, I began to realize what it really was.

"Are you kidding? Just what is something like that doing here?" I couldn't help but give a big sigh.

Shouldn't something like this be causing a headache for some hero protagonist, not someone like Mermaid's?

No, maybe it's the opposite?

This damn pervert!

"All right! I'm ready to kill you now!" I shouted full of new resolve.

That really took it by surprise I guess as it hurriedly revealed itself more.

That's right, it was a huge ass motherfucking Kraken.

Thing was like twice my size, and just to remind, I'm pretty fucking big. I could circle the entire Mermaid kingdom a few times over big.

So yeah, he was huge, which did terrify me for like a second.

The damn octopus had several of it's tentacles rising slowly from the abyss towards the Mermaid kingdom.

As such, I blocked it with my body.

The suckers on it's arm hurt like hell when it ripped some of my scales off, but I pushed through the pain.

"GODDAMN FUCKER, I'M DEFINITELY GOING TO KILL YOU NOW!" I shouted in fury.

I activated my Tyrant's Pressure at the same time at full force.

If I wasn't targeting the Kraken specifically, I might've accidentally killed the citizen's in the Mermaid Kingdom, so I did need to be a bit mindful of using it.

Still, everything worked out in the end since it had some effect on it.

Not, you stupid octopus, go die! I thought as I swam straight through it's barrage of tentacles and used [Water Magic] to create spiral spears that penetrated straight through it.

Heh, how was that? Not time to-

Fuck. It's still not dead?

I was lucky enough to dodge a stray tentacle just in the nick of time.

"Why won't you just die?! You're already just an old relic, anyway!" I shouted.

(Revenge. Anger. Hatred. Kill. Hunt. Prey. Kill. Kill. Revenge. Kill. KILL!) A words popped into my mind one after another each one filled stronger and stronger emotions.

Seriously? That's why you're doing this?

I couldn't help but give out a big sigh again.

I guess I'll just never really understand. After all, revenge is stupid. Even the guy who killed me in my past life, I don't hold it against him, since it wasn't his fault regardless.

So, I guess I just wouldn't understand.

Even so, I'll still kill it.

If you asked me why, it's not really for anything noble. I mean yeah, there's Adella, but if that was all I could just whisk her away leave things here. 

I'm not obligated to these people.

The main reason I'm fighting, is he and his worshippers pissed me off, that's about it.

After realizing my water lances weren't killing it, no matter how much holes I made, I decided to try something...BIGGER.

I wrapped my body around the Mermaid kingdom to keep it in place.

Now, time to activate my [Water Magic] in full force.

With a single thought the ocean became very lively and chaotic.

As if the wrath of Poseidon had been incurred.

The ocean's depths continued to be stirred violently.

"Take this, motherfucker! I call this an 'Abyss Smoothie'!" I shouted as if I was a kid again.

I couldn't help but enjoy the sight before me.

Even I couldn't help but be astonished by what looked like an act of God.

The entire ocean continued to spin and whirl violently around the Kraken, to the point I started hearing multiple screams of terror and agony.

I feel sorry for the innocent life, but that's not enough to stop me from doing this. Cuz that thing is a real pain in the ass to deal with.

If it wasn't, I would've tried playing with it more.

Oh, speaking of it, it seems like it's finally unable to bear the pain anymore started making it's own cried of agony.

Well, I don't think I need to keep describing what's happening now, right?

So, I'll skip to after it finally died, that took like a good twelve hours.

After that, I waited till the ocean returned back to it's normal calm state, and unwrapped myself from the Mermaid kingdom.

I turned into my Merman form and after confirming what happened with Adella and the king, and the other nobles, I retired to my room, fully exhausted.

I'd never used that much magic in my entire life...Phew.

While I was laying spread out on my bed, I remembered the though that got interrupted earlier.

"Yosh! I'll do it now then." I said while slapping my cheeks.

It doesn't matter what her response is.

This isn't something I should keep to myself and never tell her.

With that thought in mind, I headed to Adella's room to prepare...
