"BUT that's not normal right?" Nancy asked turning to max.
"Billy staying in his room in the Fourth of July? No, that's not normal." She responded
"He wants us to find him" will added
"Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. If we go to Billy then the rest of the flayed know where we are." said Nancy
"It's a trap, I agree. We'll be ambushed" Mike said
"Yeah but we won't be surprised. We'll know that there coming and Us, El and Alex will kick their flayed butts" Lucas spoke
"You mean El will kick their butts. Alex is MIA and we can do nothing" Max said looking down at the floor as she mentioned Alex.
At this point she didn't care where he was as long as he was safe.
El came out of the kitchen and back into the living room with the group.
"Billy's been there. To the source. It's a trap. I know, we can't go to Billy but I think there's another way. A way for me to see where he's been." El said with a shaky voice
She sat in-front of the Tv turning it to static and grabbing a black piece of cloth to cover her face
"El, I know you think you have to do this, but you don't it's just. You've only done this before once.
And your mom, she loved you. Billy's mind Is sick, diseased.
The mind flayer is in him" Mike said as he crouched down next to her
Max rolled her eyes at his stupidity but refrained herself from saying anything
"He can't hurt me. Not in there"
Meanwhile with Alex he and Steve had been stuck is a room tied up for what felt like hours
"I don't actually feel anything. Do you?" Steve asked Alex
"I mean I... I feel fine I guess" he asked confused his lip was busted, his ribs were broken as well as his ankle but he couldn't feel anything
"Steve are you drugged?" Alex asked laughing suddenly
"Yeahhhhh" Steve said laughing with him
"Haha so am I" Alex said chuckling
Suddenly the door buzzed open and Russian soldiers came through with what looked like a doctor
"Let's try this again" the leader said holding a knife at Alex "and see if you'll be more compliant"
"Is this a good time to tell you I don't like doctors" Steve said turning his head the man in the white coat
"Who do you work for?" They asked them
"Scoops" Steve said and he started laughing
"Are you serious?" The man with the white coat asked turning his head to Steve
"Actually I'm not Sirius. He died in Harry Potter Order of the phoenix"
They slashed the knife against Alex's cheek
"Shut up" they were about to use the knife again Steve noticing this and started telling them the truth
"A CODE. IT WAS A CODE!"
"What code?" He asked them again
"The week is long, the silver cat feed when blue meets yellow in the west blah blah blah"
"You broadcasted that stupid spy shit all over town and we picked it up on our cerebro and cried it in a day" Steve told them
"You think your so smart but a couple of kids who scoop ice cream for a living cracked your code in a day and now people know you're here" Alex told him
Suddenly the alarm went off and the Russians began to look worried
"Told you they'd come for us" Alex said with a slight grin. The drugs were wearing off him quickly due to his superpowers and was beginning to come to his senses
As soon as the Russians left Dustin, Erica and Robin appeared
By now Alex's drug had completely worn off and was back to his usual self
"Where are we, where's max?" He asked worriedly but then the recent events came back to him in a wave
"Catch you up later let's go"
Steve was still giggling in the corner staring at the ceiling
"Hey man we've got to go now" Alex said grasping Steve and supporting him to stand
"Hey hey wowww" he said in awe Alex just chuckled and continued to drag Steve in the direction of Dustin
Dustin then proceeded to show them the escape route he created
"Dustin your the absolute best" Alex told him
A few minutes after the drugs had worn of Alex the mum of pain was fading and he was beginning to feel everything
Up from his busted lip to his broken ankle but he kept moving. Do it for Max.
"What is wrong with him?" Erica asked Alex
"They drugged us for information and old Steven here told them your address, full name and some reason your date of birth" Alex told them
"So I am going to presume your house is not safe at all"
"Dustin WATCH OUT!" Erica shouted at him for the bump ahead but it was too late they had already crashed
"Come on! LETS GOO!" Erica shored sassily
"He's burning up" Alex told them as he felt against Steve's forehead
"Your burning up" he retorted
"One sec, one sec Steve, Steve" Dustin told him as Steve started gripping his shirt
"Steve are you still drugged?" Dustin asked him
"I don't do drugs. It's only marijuana" he told him sticking his fingers at Dustin's face
After 30 minutes we finally arrived outside
"Hey hey! Alex can you taste the air?" Steve asked sticking his tongue out him
"What?!-" Alex asked him but was soon cut off by Dustin and Erica's shouting at more guards appearing at the gate.
"Shit! Come on come on!" Alex said once again dragging Steve into a back door to the mall
They tried to hid in the movies section trying to stay low for a bit
"All clear" Dustin whispered to them as they walked into the back to the future movie room
Dustin took Steve and Alex to the front of the rows and in the two seats
"Hey Steve buddy make sure you don't go anywhere ok? Alex will be with you."
"What why me?!" He asked in defence
"Because your really injured and I can tell your ankle is hurting you" Dustin told him shutting him up
" fine just go but stay safe ok?" Alex said to Erica and Dustin looking at the worriedly he really didn't want to Loose anyone they nodded there heads and left
"It's official I'm never having kids" Alex said under his breath as Dustin Erica and Robin moved to different seats while Steve sat there staring at the screen with popcorn he collected from the bin
