Alex spent the rest of the day with Max and Lucas.

"The trio is back baby!"

They went round and pranked Erica, however Alex made sure he wasn't seen

They watched movies and ate ice cream, laughing about old stories of themselves 2 years ago

Lucas was smiling like a little kid

After Alex's disappearance Max kinda went of on her own and isolated herself but he was glad they could now hang out together

"Hey remember when Lucas, Dustin and I all liked you" Alex said

Lucas just laughed while Max went red in the face

"Aww look at you blushing, it matches your hair" Lucas teased

Max punched him repeatedly hard in the arm

"Ow! I'm sorry!" Lucas screamed rushing up from the couch and into his bedroom

Alex observed the situation laughing like a little child

"Man I missed this." He muttered, Max turned to face him

"I missed you" she muttered back

"I missed me too" Alex replied smirking at her

"Do you want a punch too"

"No thanks, Believe me when I say I've been hit enough" he said standing up and stretching

Max frowned a little as she knew he was referring to his time in Russia. She always wondered how he would brush off almost all of his close to death experiences.

Alex dragged Max out of her thoughts as he grabbed her by her waist and pulled her close to him

He stared into her eyes. Gosh those ocean eyes, it was like he had been put under a spell. Some sort of trance

He smiles brightly and cups her face as he kisses her deeply. Savouring every second, he forgot about everything that's happened there past year. All the pain the anger.

She pulls him in further, holding him in fear of losing him again. Alex felt himself wanting more,as if he needed to be as close to her as possible. Eventually, they slowly pull away, resting their heads against each others

"Wow" Alex whispered

Max chuckled "Wow indeed"

"Hey I've got to get home, it's pretty late and my mums probably confused on where I am" Max told him

"I can walk you home" Alex told her still mesmerised by the kiss

"No, honestly you don't have to"

"Well honestly I want to, come on. I'm not letting you walk home by yourself" Alex said walking to the door grabbing his jacket from the hook

"Are you going to give in?" Max asked him tilting her head

Alex just smiled brightly and opening the door for her

"Ladies first" he said curtsying

"Don't do that shit again" Max told him laughing loudly

As they were just about to leave they heard Lucas snoring loudly

They burst out into laughter again when suddenly Max paused turning to look up at Alex with worry

"Hey Al your nose is bleeding"

"Huh?" Alex questioned bringing his finger to his nose and it indeed was bleeding

"Ah don't worry it happened since I got back to Hawkins. And these headaches are a pain in the ass"

"Oh tell me about it. I've been getting this stupid ass migraine 24/7. It's like mikes talking straight into my ears all the time" Max said rolling her eyes

"Ah now that's bad" Alex spoke sarcastically putting his arm over her shoulder to keep her warm

"Shut up" she responded removing his arm from her shoulder

Max soon began to shiver so due to the cold night. Knowing Max and her stubbornness Alex only had one choice. He annoyed her into wearing his jacket instead

"I hate you" she responded folding her arms

"Oh I know you love me. And I love you just as much" Alex told her

"You making us sound like some old married couple." Max spoke, alex just winked and ran off towards the trailer park

"Hey Alex stop!" She shouted

"last one there's a rotten egg" he shouted back

"You're such a baby" Max shouted running after him into the night

"Oh I thought you said were an old married couple!" He said back. Something he had gotten from hanging out with Max all the time is that he had mastered the way of quick comebacks

It may have taken her his disappearance and several near death experience to realise it. But there were no words to explain how much she loved Alexander Jordan.
