Quinn's POV
We all crowded around a table and the man, who I had learned was named Murray, laid out a map on the table. Steve wrapped his arms around me as we listened to him talk.

"Okay, so this is what Alexei calls th Hub. The Hub takes us to the vault room," Murray explained, pointing out the spots. Hopper shrugged.

"Okay. Where's the gate?" He asked. Murray spoke in Russian to Alexei and the Russian answered.

"Uh, it's next to the vault room." Murray translated. Erica Sinclair scoffed and crossed her arms.

"Are you just gonna waltz in there like it's commie Disneyland or something?" The ten year old snapped. Murray frowned as he looked over at Erica.

"I'm sorry? Who are you?" He asked in annoyance.

"Erica Sinclair. Who are you?" The girl asked in turn.

"Murray... Bauman,"

"Listen, Mister Bunman. I'm not trying to tell you how to do things, but I've been in that place for 24 hours. And with all due respect, you do this and you're all gonna die." Erica explained. Murray scoffed.

"Why is this four year old speaking to me?!" Murray said angrily. Erica put her hands on her hips in annoyance.

"Uh, I'm ten, you bald bastard!"

"Erica!" Lucas shouted, surprised at his sister's rudeness. Erica shrugged.

"Just the facts!"

Alexei stood up and circled the place where they could enter and began to speak in Russian. Murray began to translate what he was saying and when he was finished, Dustin began to talk.

"It's a bit of a maze down there, but between me and Erica, we can show you the way." He explained with a shrug. Hopper chuckled.

"You can show us the way?"

"Sure. You guys'll do the dangerous hero stuff and we'll just be... your navigators." Dustin replied. Hopper shook his head.

"No. Nope. Not happening,"

The group dispersed and Hopper and Murray began to collect things from the Russian soldiers whom El had taken out with the car. I wrapped my arms tightly around Steve and looked up into his deep brown eyes.

"This is not how I was hoping my day would go. I would have preferred going to that Fourth of July fair with you and then going to bed late after watching fireworks together. Why is life in Hawkins so... exciting all the time?" I explained with a frown. Steve laughed.

"Believe me, I have no idea. Hawkins used to be the most boring place on the face of the earth. Now, it's just scary to live here sometimes," Steve muttered. I nodded.

"I guess so,"

"Hey! Heads up!" Hopper called as he tossed a supercomm to Dustin. "You can direct us through the base. Just as long as you're at a safe distance,"

"That's not possible. The comm doesn't reach down there. You'll need a signal that reaches to the Russian's radio comm, but for that you'll need someone who has seen their radios and has access to a tower that can reach that far. Preferably located in the highest place in Hawkins. Oh wait, that's me. If you want us to navigate, you got us, but we need a head start,"
Dustin explained.

Steve's POV
I smiled as I saw the car we were using to take Dustin and Erica up to Dustin's radio station.

"Oh now this... this is what I'm talking about," I said as I tossed the keys in the air. Quinn and Robin frowned.
