Chapter 24~ !! ~

"I promise that was all" I said for the fifth time trying to convince him.

"So you are all planning to go on a trip, and that some how led you to confess to Touma...." He repeated trying to understand, as he didn't really believe me.

"Uh well yes" I reply still having to comply with the last bit, though it's not true.

"And he likes you back?" He questions

"Apparently so" I say fed up with the constant questions.

"Ah well good for you, at least someone likes you" he replies smugly.

"Ha-Ha-ha-ha" I fake laugh as I give him a fake smile.

"Just kidding y/n, no need to get offended" he chuckles as he sits at his desk.

"Meh meh meh" I quietly mimic him as I take a seat at my desk as-well.

The. For the rest of the time we get on with our work, we exchange a few work related words but other than that we kept to our selfs.

*lunch time*

"Fwahhhhhh" I yawn quietly as I stretch.

I suddenly feel a pair of eyes on me, I then hear a laptop close.

"You hungry?" I look up to see Childe smiling at me.

"Hah, K-kinda" I reply caught off guard.

"Let's get some lunc-" he gets interrupted by a knock in the door.

"Come in" he says with a hint of irritation in his tone.

"Hi, Just here to get y/n. Sorry" Akio briefly explained as he catches on to Childe's irritation.

"Hurry Akioooo" I hear Kaori in the back.

"Calm down, he's getting her" I also hear Touma kindly say.

I don't hear Kaori respond but I'm guessing she gave a brief nod.

I see Childes expression change to annoyed.

"I guess we could join you" he huffs as he gets up walking over to me. He gently grabs my arm and takes me out with him.

My cheeks go a shade of light pink, why is he being so clingy.

"Uhhhh okay?" Akio says puzzled as he closes the office door.

Touma and Kaori look shocked as we walk past them.

We eventually all walk down to the canteen at work with me and Childe somehow ending up at the back silently walking side by side at the back.

So we can hear the conversation at the front very clearly.

"So where should we go?" Touma asks.

"We're seriously doing this?" Akio asks not believing them.

"Duhhhh" Kaori chimes.

"Not sure, where would be he best place to go?" Touma asks.

They look back at me.

"U-um I don't know, somewhere nice and cold maybe?" I give a suggestion whilst looking at Childe who was still silent.

"Well, I was thinking somewhere hot " Kaori replies disagreeing with my suggestion.

"I don't know, I agree with y/n on this" Touma replies skeptically.

"Of course you do" she mumbles. And looks away from him.

Damn she really doesn't like him.

"W-well, Kaori the cold is kind of romantic" I step in between the two as I look in her direction.
