Sam

Charlie made sure to stay close when we walked down the corridor and back into the main section of the house, the one with the big chandelier dangling down. I was trying to count how many lights were attached to it before Charlie walked towards the left side. Did he still remember how to get around?

Vicky was kind of lurking in the corridor, as if debating whether to speak to us or not which she didn't. Charlie wasn't exactly approachable anyway, he looked rather annoyed actually, as if his entire personality had changed the second he walked through that giant door. He didn't seem sweet, or funny or kind, he just seemed moody and disgusted.

I didn't enjoy this Charlie, I wanted my Charlie. I tried to keep up with him but he was walking pretty quickly through the corridor, hesitating now and again through hallways as if trying to remember which way was the correct one. They were long, white corridors, with mirrors and paintings plastered on the walls. Though some of them had a red velvet wallpaper instead, with fancier paintings. They seemed to all be in the same area as well.

Maybe it for guests? I'm guessing they are business partners of some kind, to make them seem richer or fancier, it seemed to be more intimidating than the white corridors, as there was more stuff going on.

Some of the hallways had pictures of the group, posing together either fighting, or shooting, whereas some were baby photos with them all together, smiling as children, though there were no pictures of Charlie anywhere. No one. He seemed to notice though he didn't look liked he cared, though it must hurt to know his entire childhood was for nothing.

He left and then took care of me, he had no proper childhood. Maybe this was a good thing for Charlie, I know he said not to make friends with the other brothers, not Aiden, Max or Chris and definitely not Adam, but Raymond and Leo seemed rather cool. Raymond seemed to be the black sheep of the family, and Leo just had this sort of class about him.

It was like he knew everything about everyone, regardless of the fact that I just met him an hour ago, but you could tell he wasn't one to have a laugh with, not that I did often anyway but still, though he does play the piano so that could be a bonus.

I know Charlie wouldn't like that in the slightest so I would have to do it behind his back, which I don't really want to do but I still have the right to get to know my own brothers, just not all of them.

Charlie had now managed to find us a small kitchen area, with an island with stools next to it which were rather high up. It was a nice kitchen too, much fancier than ones I've ever been in to be honest.

"Alright, not too shabby eh?", Charlie said, his hands on his hips with a look of achievement as if finding a kitchen was a hard task. I just nodded and stood dumbfounded as he looked around for some food in the cupboards.

I wonder where the others were, I mean Chris, Max and Aiden went off ages ago in their cars, revving their engines as loud as possible as they skidded out of the driveway. I heard Charlie mutter "Dickheads" under his breathe as they did.

Adam and Leo have probably gone to their office to work on boring stuff, but where was Raymond? I sighed in relief when Charlie held a few packs of noodles in the air, chicken flavour, my favourite.

I nodded with a smile as he grinned, looking around for a saucepan and chucking the kettle on. Instead of just watching him make noodles, I decided to slowly make my way backwards, trying to be as quiet as possible as he moved around the kitchen.

I turned into a long corridor, walking quickly but quietly as I tried to remember the way back so I can get back to Charlie if I needed to. I walked until I entered the main area again with that chandelier. Instead of going up the stairs, I went to the right side, the carpets were now blue instead of red.

It freaked me out a little bit when I saw a giant statue, I think it was a statue of our father as it looked like Charlie a little bit yet it also looked like me. It was a bronze statue, posing with his hands on his hips and a cold look on his face.

Our father. What an odd term since the only father figure I've ever had is Charlie, I've never real thought of him before this, as I've always thought he was irrelevant.  Charlie was the only person in my life that has been a constant, I know James has been my best friend since forever, but that doesn't mean that he was always there whenever I needed him, he normally hung out with his other friends.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard a piano playing, Beethoven travelled through the corridor as I walked closer, the door right at the end of the corridor was open, as if planning to catch me in a trap.

And I was walking towards it anyway.

I slowly peered into the room to find myself in a ginormous library, it looked like the one from beauty and beast with how many books were lined on the shelves, all in size order to make it look perfect, there was even a spiral staircase onto the second floor. There was also a hanging chair from the ceiling with a blanket and a giant pillow positioned next to the fireplace and a giant window.

A perfect reading place for when it's raining. There was even candles which didn't seem like the smartest idea in the world with a bunch of books surrounding them but then again, they did add to the vibe of the place.

There another room connected to it, with a door made out of bookshelves, which can I say, is the coolest thing I have ever seen in my entire life! The door revealed one of my brothers, who I couldn't really see, playing on a large black grand piano, surrounded my windows with a gleaming light landing on him, making him seem to be playing the music of angels.

I walk slowly to him, trying to be quiet once again as I now quickly tiptoe to the bookshelf door, peering around the door as I watched him play. I could now tell that it was Leo, sat in his suit with his jacket laid next him on the stool.

His hands moved so quickly along the keys, though he had no sheet music in front of him, as if he was doing it straight from his own memory. I stood in awe for a moment before he stopped abruptly. My eyes widened as he turned quickly, our eyes catching eachothers.

He seemed surprised that it was me as he grabbed his jacket.

"Oh, I though you were Raymond", He said calmly, now putting his jacket back on and turned to face me fully. I just stared at him for a moment before nodding my head, debating whether to go back to Charlie or not.

"Where's Charlie? I'm surprised he let you out of sight by the way he was acting this morning", He said with curiosity. I just stared at him as he got up, causing me to back away slightly towards the door, causing him to stop.

"Hmm. Not much of a talker are you?", He asked me, now bending down on his knees to reach my height. I just shrugged as I went to leave.

"Hey wait a minute", He asked me, moving closer to me as I walked backwards. He smiled at me warmly as he stood back up.

"You're a funny little thing aren't you? Did you like the music?", He asked me as he turned to the piano. I nodded my head as he turned back around. He looked like he was in thought for a moment before coming closer to me, this time I stood my ground.

"Do you want me to teach you sometime?", He asked me. I would love to learn piano, though I'm not sure if Charlie would like me to hang out with Leo.

I nodded with a small smile, clutching onto Arktos as Leo smiled.

"Tell you what, if you say you want to with words, I will make time to teach you", He asked me with a grin as I stared. I sighed with annoyance, Leo didn't seem like the type to bluff.

"Yes please", I said quietly, a huge grin appearing on his face. He clapped his hands together, at the same time Charlies panicked voice managed to make it's way though the house.

"Sam?!", He yelled loudly as Leo shook his head.

"I knew he wouldn't let you out of his sight without his permission, off you go then poppet before he finds you here with me", He said, encouraging me to quickly pace towards the kitchen area. I nodded and left, giving him a small smile.

I've always wanted to learn piano.
