Sam

It has been silent for the past half an hour except for the random sighs coming from Max. We are driving to the museum of art with Max driving but Chris and Aiden haven't spoken as they have been sat on their phones, scrolling without a single word.

"You excited?", Max asked me, cutting the silence with both Aiden and Chris looking up for a moment before going back to their phones. I nodded my head slowly and looked back out the window. It was a boring drive too as it was on the motorway so there wasn't anything to look at. Max sighed once more but with side eyes to Aiden and Chris.

"What?", Aiden asked Max as Chris nodded with him. Max just shrugged his shoulders before looking back at me, speeding up all of a sudden. I sighed too which caught all their attention before they ignored it and went back onto their phones. This is going to be a long day.

Ebony

Sam is a super weird person, but I kind of liked that about her. The three evils still hadn't introduced themselves to her and I know that as soon as they do, she will ditch me to hang out with them, which I'm completely used to.

Although I used to be the youngest of the bunch, I still didn't get half the amount of attention Sam does now with her brothers, but this wasn't what was on my mind today. I needed to find out what this bait was and what was behind the door downstairs, I had been waiting for years to see it ever since I saw them going behind the secret panel in the hallway.

My mother has never questioned Grandpa and Grandma in her entire life and my father, well he left years ago to live in a fishing cabin in the woods. Everyone says he is dead because to them, he is. He just wanted out the life but I had to stay here with my mother. I hope one day I get out the life.

I have always wanted to be a spy and this was the perfect opportunity to try and be one, sneaking around has always been my speciality and no one ever notices me anymore. The people who used to take care of me were let go from the house as soon as the family found out Sam was alive and younger.

I always thought it was some super high honour but in actuality, it sucked. Now I get privacy, get to watch and be Sam's eyes and ears around the house. She is going to need all the help she gets.

I headed downstairs into the living room which was on the other side of the house, trying to scout how many people were inside and where the others were. Just as I was about to head there, my aunts, mother and the three devils were heading down the staircase and to the front door.

"Alright, I'll see you later Ebony, I'll get you something pretty", My mother said before heading out as I gave her a nod. The aunts followed without much of a word.

"I can't wait to go shopping", One of the devils said with a smirk before they all nodded in agreement, heading out the door with smirks on their faces. I rolled my eyes only to be greeted my Grandma staring at me with a small smile.

"Hey hun, did you want to come with us? I know Sam and her brothers are out all day, Charlie, Raymond and Marino don't get back till this afternoon and your cousins are doing their own work all day so you are alone in the house with Grandpa and a few others", She asked me before stating exactly what I needed to know. I shook my head with a grin at her.

I didn't even want to go shopping, it was boring, long and who the hell cares about clothes that much to spend hours trying on a few things. The thing that hurt me the most is that my own mother didn't want me there.

"No thanks Grandma, I have a ton of homework to do anyway", I said with a smile as she nodded.

"Okay pet, just let the housekeeper know if you need anything and if you like, you can help get Sam get caught up with all the work by getting your notes for her?", She asked me as I nodded, though she seemed pretty smart.

She gave me a small pat on the head before heading out the door, giving me one more wave before clambering into her car. I closed the door behind me in one big throw, slamming it slightly as I rushed up the stairs and into my room. It was the one opposite to Sam's fondly enough. Perfect.

I headed to my wardrobe and pulled out the blue prints I had made for the house, drawn myself with camera angles and motion sensors included. Living in a house for so long, you tend to learn where everything is however I always wrote it down just in case. It was a huge house after all.

I should show these to Sam later so she knows just how serious I am about this. I keep a close eye on Arktos, her beloved bear. I never had one of those growing up, a keepsake or something I loved as a child. My father loves my mother and me but my mother loved her shopping and doing as she was told.

She still does to this day.

Alright, I had the perfect route to the secret room where camera's wouldn't be able to see me and I wouldn't set off any motion sensors. I slowly headed out my bedroom and went through the servants part of the house, trying not to make a fuss or run into anyone. Even if I did, they would never say anything. Most of them worked to pay their bills, not to gain favourites or get promotions. Hardworking people who probably think all of us are spoiled brats.

I headed up the high stair case to an hatch outside. I needed to use the garden to get through as all the floor boards in the east section of the house had motion sensors. I know this as I used to use a remote control car to test how long it took for guards to rush with guns tucked under their arms to get to the hallway despite it being deadly silent.

Logically, motion sensors were everywhere in the house but some of it was old and some of it was new. The garden has some sensors with trip wire hooks and cameras, but I had been in the computer room many times and seen all the angles and where the hooks are located.

I headed through a window in the servants bit once more, getting back into the house and getting to the edge of the east wing. When I showed Sam the way I could she was confused on how I knew exactly how to get around the house without being caught. Hopefully she was impressed too.

I got the panel but before I could reach it, I saw six guards walking up and down the floorboards, their guns out and ready to shoot, one had a large scar on his face. I made myself as small as I could before the panel was thrown open to reveal my grandfather speaking to a man with huge blonde hair, surrounded by his own guards. I could tell as his colours were different to ours.

"Are you sure this is going to work?", He asked my grandfather before he put his hand on his shoulder and nodded, giving him a small but weak smile.

"Have you ever doubted me?", He asked the man, in reply the man shook his head. What was going to work?

"Alright, but if this fails, it falls down on you. I had no part in any of this", The man said before my grandpa nodded slowly. If you knew anything about my grandfather, you knew that he didn't lie often and when he does, it is extremely hard to pick up on when he is lying. Fortunately for me, I have known him for my entire life. Right now, he was lying.

"Of course, but it won't. As long as you do your part of the deal, then all of this panic and chaos will be worth it, my grandchildren can go home back to England and we will work side by side, controlling Spain without the fear of execution", Grandpa said with a grin, the man returning it.

"Alright, I head you have made a new couple of additions to the family", The man asked as my grandpa nodded his head slowly. His entire tone changed before the man put his hands on the air as though he had a gun pointed at his temple.

"Hey, I heard it from a few friends. It's going around that a new youngest has been found. Just wanted to let you know as a friend", The man said before Grandpa grunted at him, shooing him out the hallway.

"Alright, thanks for letting me know. Now lets have a cup of tea to fully discuss the plans, make sure we are understood", Grandpa replied as they headed down the hallway.

Great, this was finally my chance.
