SCORPIO M X CANCER F - LOVE IS INFINITE MILES AWAY

Scorpio pov:-

I was nervous. It was for the first time as an astronaut that I have been sent to a different planet, named Tres 77B. It has many characteristics similar to Earth. And experts believe that it may sustain life. So I was now on the mission to look through whether it is true or not.

The countdown began. I took all the necessary precaution. And the spaceship finally launched. It took a few minutes to realise the enormity of the moment. And finally I bid goodbye to Earth.

I was wandering through the space, I realised many things did not match the intuitions or assumptions made by us. What we see from earth is much different.

I was so wondered that I took time to realise that I reached my destination. The spaceship entered the atmosphere of the planet. I was surrounded by bright light, it was painful and I lost my senses.

Third person pov:-

Scorpio felt someone was jerking him. He woke up to see a girl waking him up. But the girl was very much different than other humans. She had four eyes. 2 eyes at the front and 2 eyes at the back. She had only 2 nostrils instead of a proper nose. But these were only the unique features that made her look unusually beautiful.

She finally spoke out in some alien language that Scorpio could not verify. So he used his invented machine that could translate any alien languages both spoken and unspoken.

The translation came as "Hi there! Are you okay? "

He translated his language to their language and spoke out

"Chin som afa lum. Olo aer oi? " (Meaning :- I am okay. What's your name? )

(Now every conversation will be written in english language for the sake of convenience.)

"I am Cancer. You? "

"Scorpio."

"Well you look very different from us. "

"I am from another planet, Earth. "

"You are from Earth? "

"Yes"

"Well I have heard about Earth! But I never knew dwellers of Earth. Its the first time I am seeing one!! " She squealed in excitement

"Thats great. Even I am here for the very first time."

"I shall show you the places here. You can take an account. And also will show you the species, climate and natural phenomena. "

"That's great! I need to repair my spacecraft. It will take time. So I shall spend my days here. "

Scorpio pov:-

As I stared exploring the planet, I realised many things were different from Earth :- sky was pink, animals were different, ice was hot, fire was cold.

But few things were in common, the most intellectual species of them resembled human beings. Cancer was one of them. She indeed helped me get adapted to a new planet. She introduced me to her family members. We had a good time.

I discovered one thing personal for me :- I started to love Cancer. Even she loved me back.. We confessed our love to each other. But circumstances could not unite us. I was a species from Earth and she was from Tres 77B. She won't be leave her planet, nor I. I may adapt here for few months, not for lifetime.

My heart pounded everytime I thought of it. But there was nothing we could do. Wait! We could do. I had a device with me that could connect planet to planet, allowing communication. I forgot about it before.

As the spaceship got repaired, I had to bid the planet goodbye.

And now as I am writing this account, I still remember all the memories of the planet, especially Cancer. And yeah, I do communicate with her.

I just received a message.. Goodbye
