Aquarius pov:-

Sitting inside a room of my dear house in New york, was engrossed in writing poems as the sound of rain uplifted my mood. My mother Leo was also in a leisure time spending in some constructive activities.

She was the crux of my life. She was the one who had formed roots even after my father left the family for extremely cynic and selfish woman.

She always loved to read poems and novels. I was a scientist by profession. But I also liked to write poems during my free time.

So here's my first poem:-

SHADES

The day the Earth was born,
Two angels stood above.
One gifted with wings, one possessing horn.
Both indulged in innovating shades.
One imagining blossom of petals,
Other wounds of spade.

The white invented was small and dense,
Which crowned the head of few sapiens.
The black could however,
Encrust the entire planet, on the blink of an year.

The horned devil achieved victory,
And shined out eerie red.
The wings laughed behind the curtains,
Knowing the vast shade would eventually fade.

And as the Earth grew up,
Her conscience created,
Pure air and clouds,
That blurred the black shade,
Only visible when clouds shed tears.

The holy white however,
Shared selfless affection,
Through the art of some humans,
Found rare but worthy of our devotion.
