The Lost Princesses- COMPLETED

N.O 1 Sophia Elizabeth Davidson

Warm spring air filled through the slightly cracked window into the bedroom creating a calm atmosphere. The sound of footsteps sounded throughout the day as the rest of Sophia's family got ready for the day

" Darling wake up" Emily said opening the door "time for school"

"Go away" she shouts waving a lazy hand in her mums' direction

"Sophia Elizabeth Davidson get your butt out of bed" she shouts

Her footsteps sounding around the room allowing Sophia to pinpoint the direction of her movements, which happen to be heading for her curtains. Pulling them wide open letting the sunlight invade the darkness

"Too bright" Sophia yells pulling the covers back over my head

"I swear if you don't get out of bed in 3 seconds...."she says walking toward the bed, grabbing the edge of the blankets and yanking it off of Sophia and onto the floor

Quickly jumping out of bed, the cold settling into her bones "Alright, alright I'm up, now get out so I can get dressed" she says, waving a hand towards her door

" You better not fall back to sleep, missy" she says accusing her

" Yeah ok" Sophia says, Throwing her hands up in surrender

Moving over to her wardrobe she pulls out a simple outfit of a white top, jeans with a pair of cute boots, a beanie and lastly a scarf. nothing too complicated, nothing too simple either. Just right

Quickly taking a glance at the pale-yellow clock that has residence on the wall. Realising that there was 15 minutes until she had to leave for school, she slowly made her way down the stairs, making sure that she had everything and entered the kitchen.

"What's for breakfast?" Sophia asks leaving on the kitchen counters, making her presence known to her mothers who stood at the stove

" pancakes" Emily says " now eat up" she says placing a plate full of pancakes with maple syrup dripping down the side in front of Sophia

"Looks amazing, mum" she says quietly, her attention on the plate of pancakes in front of her.

After finishing her breakfast, Sophia rushed up stairs to quickly brush her teeth and grab her bag, that she had already packed the night before. Checking the time, her heart drops at the sight of it. letting out a quick swear word she rushed down the stairs and ripping her shoes on. before she got to the do her mum shouts

"Would you like a lift to school hunny? you have 15 minutes until school starts, I could drop you off on the way to work?"

"That would be lovely thanks mum" walking away from the door she perched herself in front her mum who was just finishing up washing the dishes from breakfast

"Ok, well you have 5 minutes maximum until you need to be in my car, I'll just finish this and I will meet you in the car" she says, reaching down into her pocket to grab her keys before throwing them at Sophia. Not bothering to check whether she had actually received them she put her focus back on her task at hand

Gripping the keys in her hand, Sophia moved to place a kiss on her mom's cheek and made her way back to the door to get into the car. For once Sophia wasn't the last one to get to the car. Last time that happened her mum nearly drove off without her. The only reason she didn't was because of her shouting swear words at the car. Let's just say that her mum didn't appreciate that.

After five minutes were up, Emily placed her stuff into the back of the car and slid into the driver's seat. Putting her hand out for the keys. They began their journey to school.
