Sophia's P.O.V

Her footsteps sounded on the sidewalk the cold weather seeping in through her coat. The birds singing a tune as she walked past enjoying the weather. The sound of the neighbours having their dinner, laughter filtering through the windows that are cracked open slightly.

Approaching her house her footsteps slowed down. Her father's car stood in the drive way the silver metal box dented slightly at the side, the past always stuck into it. Images of the car crash entered her mind. The day her dad began to disappeared more and more spending as little of time as he could with the family, the guilt of the accident eating him up even though it happened a year ago.

The car flipping across the road, the impact they made with the road never seemed to leave her skin. The way her leg felt crushed against the door, the blood that dripped down from her forehead. The way her dad was limp the only thing that kept him in place the seat belt.

Shaking her head from the images she walked towards the door. Reaching for the keys in her pockets she went to put in the lock but stopped when shouting could be heard from inside. Peering through the window her parents stood face to face in the foyer

"we have to tell her do you not think that she realises something is up?" a pained looked crossed her mothers face

"you know we can't ,not yet" he shakes his head dismissing the thought almost immediately

"she beginning to dislike the fact you're not here you know, that right? And you being gone everyday not knowing if you'll return it killing me too" her mum stood in the middle her hand reaching for her sleeve. Dread filled her dad's eyes as they stayed looking in the direction of where her eyes used to be, not wanting to see what was about to be shown

Deciding she's seen and heard enough she turned her keys and opened the door, in the corner of her eye her mum pulled down her sleeve keeping whatever laid beneath her sleeve shielded from view.

"how was school" he mums oddly cheery voice asked her as she palace her bag by the stars to be talked upstairs to her room

"it was good, the usual" was the only response her voice not revealing that anything had just occurred.

"welcome back Sophia" he says facing her all is attention taking in her posture and facial expressions as if his trying to memorize her "I am going to go and rest, love you both" removing his eyes from her he walked round to kiss them both on the head before walking rather slowly up the stair the fatigue clearly dragging him down.

"would you like something to at darling?" her mum turned her attention back to her daughter once her husband had disappeared from her view

"No, I'm ok, thanks though. I'm going to go upstairs and rest a bit" leaning over to kiss her mum on the head her she grabbed her stuff and went towards her bedroom touching her door to push it open her mother called from downstairs

"if you want any thing give me a shout" concern rang through out her voice.

"will do" pushing it open the dread and feeling of uncertainty filled her. The emotions strong almost making her legs give out.

A strong need to shut the door and walk toward her mirror, pushed her body out of own her will. Her feet moving slowly her hands reaching out towards the mirror. Her eyes glowed a silver colour in a ring around her pupil. A purple mist covered the edges of her mirror sparking blue before opening it up to a scene of a forest, a silhouette of a woman standing in the trees her body facing Sophia's. a voice entered her head willing her to walk towards the dark.

"come on you know you want to" her voice loud and clear her face hidden in the dark. Her body conflicted her mind telling her yes, her heart making her walk back

"I'm not going to hurt you" the voice became louder the invisible force pushing her back toward the mirror

"go on step through Blair" a name that has been heard before sounded through her mind several questions roaming around begging to be answered. If only she stepped through the mirror would they be answered. Walking slowly towards her mirror the nightmares flashing through her mind only egging her on more. The answers to the pen flying across the room. Answers to the secret conversation that her parents were having. One more step and she would have the answers that she so desperately needed. Her heart pulling her back, her heart beat drowning out the thoughts in her head leaving one that needed to be answered. One breath, one step and it'll be over

"hey Sophia you ok? Do you need anything?" her mums voice came from the other side of the door.

The force and the scene In front of her disappeared as her concentration was lost her legs giving out her energy spent her body falling limp on the floor her hand landing on the letter that sat on her floor

Taking a breath, she replied "yeah I'm ok just really tiered I'm going to go to bed"

"ok I love you" she said before she could be heard walking away.

"yeah" she whispered to herself, her breathing slowly returning to normal. her ring tone filled the air drowning out the thoughts of what had just occurred in her room. Picking herself off of the floor her hand gripping the letter that had been on the floor she stood staring at the mirror for a bit longer putting her hands on the cold surface. it was as if nothing had happened. Her phone rang out once again. Grabbing it without looking at who was ringing she answered the phone

"hey its Alex"

"oh hey" her mind half distracted as she started to unfold the letter.

"so I was just wondering if you were doing anything recently?" his voice rang through her head.

"uh, I mean no I don't think so, why?"

"well I just...." His voice started filtering out of her mind, becoming quieter as her eyes read the letter. The dread that once stood in her stomach that morning came back with full force once again, her eyes drifting over the letters as if her mind wasn't processing it.

'you know how I am don't you, this isn't over little one, I'm coming' -AS

having no idea who it may be from her body became weak once again the phone slipping from her grasp hitting the floor with a thud her body following shortly after.

"SOPHIA? SOHPIA?" The sound of both Alex and her parents sounded through out the room and yet they couldn't be heard by her. The door hit the wall the outline of Alex stood in the doorway her parents standing behind him them all staring at her in shock before rushing over. Confusion took over her body as her body shut down, her vision become black giving in to her body's wish.
