Delia's Pov

I stared boredly at the blue sky and my head leaning on the window while in deep thoughts "Delia?" I snapped out and turned around to face edmund "yes?" Edmund looked at me before replying "You seem sad, what is bothering you?" He asked.

I look down and mumbled "I miss my family" I said, Edmund heard me clearly as he slowly sat down beside me "I miss mine family too, where do you live?" He asked, I played my fingers to think "um, far far away from here" I said.

Edmund tilted his head with a frown "then how did you get here?" He ask, I bite my lip as I think. What am i going to say! "well, someone took me away from my hometown and I woke up in this strange place" I replied, im so bad at lying.

"How is this place strange? Are there any village in your hometown?" He asked confusely, too many private questions that I cant answer! "No! I mean- this place is much prettier and neatier than my old hometown" I replied, now that is a good lying.

Edmund nodded in understandment "Oh, you will get used here but also don't go out near the palace." He whispered, I furrowed my brows confusely "why?" . "It's too dangerous there, a dark prince live in that castle and you'll know he's very cruel to his people" He replied.

"He's a prince? And a soon to be king so which means he's gonna rule this Kingdom soon?" I asked, Edmund nodded "Yes" . I covered my mouth in surprised "That's not a good news, he might continue to be even more cruel to his people once he sat on the throne!" I said loudly.

Edmund shushed me "Shh! Someone might hear you, its not good to speak about the Prince badly" He said, I crossed my arms "I don't care, all I care is about his people. Edmund we need to stop him" I suggested, He widened his eyes "Are you out of your mind, my lady?! We cant just stop the prince that easily, he can easily hurt and kill us" He said with wide eyes.

I held my chin while thinking "No he wont, this is just a story book anyway. Nothing will happen to us, come on!" I dragged his coat along with him "What are you talking about, story book?"

Looking around the village as I continue to drag Edmund with me "Wait! Its forbidden to enter the Palace its one of the Prince's 10 rules!" He said, I scoffed "Who does the Prince think he is? A God?"

Edmund shook his head and looked down quickly as we stood infront of the tall guards "Excuse me sir guard, were here to see the Prince" I said, they both look at me "qui es-tu ?(who are you) "One of the guards asked, I was about to speak when edmund covered my mouth "pardonnez la dame, monsieur(forgive the lady, sir) nous devrions reprendre notre chemin (we should go back in our way)" He said.

I didn't know what they're saying but I feel like edmund is saying sorry, I hummed against his palm covering my mouth, I bit his palm making him to scream and pull away from me. "I am the Prince's soon to be wife!!" I screamed and everyone around me gasped and widened their eyes.

What did i just said? The guards didn't believe it as he scoffed "The prince dont have enough time for his future wife except for Lady scarlett" I crossed my arms and was about to talk back when Edmund pulled me behind him "okay, that's enough of your nonsense. Forgive us" He said before dragging me away.

"What is wrong with you today? You dont probably have enough sleep, we should go h-" His words were cutted off by some of the village girls "Is it true?" I frowned my forehead confusedly "Je crois qu'elle est la future épouse du prince, est-ce vrai ?(I believe she's the future wife of the prince, is it true)"

I didn't understand what they're saying "what were they saying?" I whispered into Edmund "they ask if its true what you were saying to the guards" He replied, a smirk in my lips formed "Don't say anything crazy" he gritted his teeth in warning.

I bite my lip with a smirk, what's the french word of? Ohh. I'm not planning to- "oui!(yes!) I'm the future wife of the Prince! Come, come we invite you to our home. Follow me!" I said loud and clear for everyone to hear.

Ares Pov

I flipped through pages while reading letters sent from Scarlett, she's my future wife yet i do not love her. Father forced me to arrange marriage with her, her parents are my father's friend that made them think to set a marriage for us two.

Although scarlett likes me I know she wont stop the wedding, I've got nothing to do but just get married to her and for a few months i'll separate her.

William opened the door of my chambers without knocking, i throwed a sword beside me to him and he quickly catched it "frappe la prochaine fois!( knock next time)" I said angrily, William just laughed at me "tu as l'air de mauvaise humeur(you seem in a bad mood)" He replied.

I focused my eyes on the papers while signing them then reading another scroll of paper "ne me dérange pas (dont disturb me)" I said coldly as I pay no attention of him. he chuckled before handing me a paper scroll "It's not a letter, just an interesting happening down there" He said.

I took the paper before putting them on the side "I'll read it later" I replied before continuing to write, William took the scroll beside me "read it, cela attirera votre attention!(it will caught your attention)" He said with a slight smirk.

I got curious, I took the scroll and William bows down respectfully before leaving me in my chambers alone, I look down to the paper as I unscrolled it, reading it carefully to catch every word

'I can't believe that there's a woman who claimed to be the dark Prince's Future wife. ça a été la bonne nouvelle de tous . J'espère que le prince a vu ça et qu'il aura le cœur léger pour nous tous !!

My face turned into a cold hard one, a lying woman. Oh, someone will lose their head today and im gonna enjoy it. I open the other scroll as I read it, shocking of the words.

My mouth were wide open until I closed them and slammed my hands on the table, almost breaking my office table "WILLIAM!" I screamed his name, making him quickly enter in worried "qu'est-ce qui ne va pa- (what's the matter)" I cutted his words as he saw my angry face that he never seen before "Come with me and lets meet this soon to be my bride" I said with a smirk, this woman has no right to tell everyone a stupid lie and even everyone believed it.

William looked terrified by my playful and angry mood but still obeyed as he followed me. I grabbed my sword in case as we walked out of chamber.
