Chapter 30

Ares's Pov

The servants brought us tea before leaving us with King Merlin "I heard you are even good in fighting than your father" he said with a chuckle, I nodded proudly of myself "He is the one to teach me many things I dont know" I replied.

King Merlin smiled "Your Father is a great King! I still remember when we were 10 years old, we already planned on letting our future son and daughter to marry so the Kingdom would be even more powerful!" He said, I drank my tea. Here we go again, marriage topic.

I looked away while drinking my tea "Describing my daughter, she would be perfect for you to be the Queen of this Kingdom ruling by your side" He said and continued "Your future childrens would be even more beautifuller and charmin-" . "Can we stop at this conversation? I dont want to talk about marriage and family" i cutted him off.

King Merlin looked shock for me to reply him rudely "Now, that is just not a future King attitude, Ares" He said while leaning back, i looked at him "Did I asked for you to look carefully of my doings? Maybe not" I said while poking the side of my cheek.

He widened his eyes, I leaned my back on the chair "I shouldn't have said that" I said and acted to be shock, He kept his wide eyes at me "Well, maybe we should continu-" I cutted him again "I think you need to watch your daughter, she is going anywhere in MY palace as if she is already my Queen" I said before standing up on the chair.

I took a last sip of my tea before continuing "and That's not even going to happen" I said before he could reply, I called the servants "Clean the mess!" Walking out of the living room, I stepped on the stairs to look for that Scarlett mouse going anywhere as if she owns the Palace.

She becomes my queen, not going to happen. While walking the big hallways, I stopped to see Scarlett and Delia talking. I freaked out, What if she hurted her and told her about our marriage!

I walked between them and grabbed Scarlett by her wrist angrily earning a groan from her "What did you do to her?" I asked with a heavy tone, Delia covered her mouth and held my arms "let her go, she didn't do anything to me!" She said loudly.

I glared at Scarlett as she watched me with a hurt face "Why are you hurting me!" She said, I let go of her wrist and pulled Delia by her waist and making Scarlett to look down of my hands around Delia's waist and wondered what relation we have both.

"What are you doing, Ares?!" Delia whispered angrily at me, I replied "Just showing her that I am getting married with someone and that is you" I whispered and She widened her eyes and tried to let my arms detached from her waist.

But I tighten my arms around her with a smirk on my face, I need to let everyone knows that she belongs to me. "Scarlett, let me introduce you to my soon to be future wi-" before I could complete my sentence I got kneed by my stomach making me groan in pain.

"I am his soon to be private maid that is why i am here, Come. We need to get you into your room" Delia said with a smile and held the baskets of fruits, making Scarlett to follow her "You deserve it, Arez! For hurting me!" She said loudly.

I kept groaning in pain, oh I just got kneed by a woman. By a mere peasant! I laugh as if it was a joke, how could a woman do this to the future King of this Kingdom. I will rule the whole world and I just kneed a- I held my stomach tightly, Wait for me Delia. There will be a great punishment for you coming when everyone is asleep.

Delia's Pov

I entered Scarlett's room before closing then locking it to make sure Ares wont enter "What is wrong with that man, he hurted me!" She said while caressing her wrist.

I walked to her and held her wrist before giving it a blow "It's not serious, but you will have to always take care of people around you" I said and Scarlett looked down "I know, I should have been careful" She replied.

She then sat up with a smile "So you are the Prince's private maid, how wonderful is that be. That is everyone in the village's dream!" She exclaimed, I chuckled "Oh, not for me. It is the worst dream I've ever had" I said.

Then I remembered about her telling me that we just met earlier , how did it happen? We met just many days ago before I found out of Ares's craziness love of me! How come we just met earlier?

I looked up to her and asked "Are you sure we met earlier? Or did you bump your head at something earlier making you forget" I said worriedly, Scarlett widened her eyes "Are you telling me that I am being crazy lying to you?" She asked.

I quickly shook my head "no no, not that way. We met many days ago, miss scarlett. How can you say we just met earlier?" I asked unbelievably, Scarlett looked at me weirdly "Are you the one who got hit by the head on a rock or something?" She asked.

"Oh, come on! I'm serious" I said worriedly, Scarlett shake her head "I'm being serious too! I am not a great liar, if you too aren't then one of us must got hit by the rock" She said, I held my forehead in stress. Or did the time go back?

And the people I met refreshed their minds and didnt remember me at all? Oh no, but Ares seemed to know me like earlier our fight but not Scarlett knowing me from many days ago and just now she told me we met earlier.

What a wonderful world, what is happening! "Are you alright, miss?" She asked curiously, I break my thoughts off and shake my head before smiling "All fine, you need to change miss. Next time i wont be visiting you because I will be the Prince's private maid" I said sadly.

Well, hello no! I wont be a servant to that monster, Not now and not ever! "Sadly" she said pouting, I giggled and stood up "Well, I should be going now. See you anywhere" I said before bowing my head slightly in respect.

Who knows this girl is from a noble or royal blood, I might have to ask Ares about her. Oh, no not him. I wont be seeing him today if he tries to then I'll just simply avoid, simple!

Later that night, I looked at the mirror and get into the flower milky tub. I feel like a princess here but there is no time to feel that way, I will escape from here with Edmund but what if that Scarlett got hunted by that Ares then I will take her and escape with us together!

Now i have my own plans while swimming in the big tub. Suddenly I hear the door open of the room outside the bathroom, I stand from the tub and wrap a towel around me.

I took a small bathroom slippers in my hand ready to kick this person for entering my room without knocking nor my permission. I slowly opened the door of the bathroom and peeked to see no one inside my room.

As soon as I went completely out of the bathroom, I saw the door closed and lock just like I left them but who was that creaking door open sound?

I turned around and my mouth were covered, I screamed in frightened and my eyes met with the familiar ones. "Shh, sweetheart" Ares whispered, I widened my eyes and hit his arms "What are you doing inside my room!" I said angrily.

Ares smirked "I wanted to talk about something earlier" He said before his eyes went down my wet body, I widened my eyes. I realised I was still on my towel and my hair bun making my bare neck exposed "Leave" I said simply before walking back to the bathroom.

I gasped when I got pulled from behind by my waist and I grip my towel tightly afraid it would fall "If you were in my position, I wouldn't let a woman go in this situation" He said with a smirk before his eyes went down my lips.

His face went down to claim my lips but I look away, making him stop and chuckle darkly "Delia, you are so hard to get" He whispered hotly against my ear before I reacted, His lips were against my neck, sucking on my skin.

I gasped left my lips when he started kissing my sweet spot, I squirm in his arms but Ares increased his pressure on my body to keep me place, his grip on my waist tightened making me unable to move and got squeezed in his tight arms with his lips on my neck. "Ares" I wanted to scream at him but because of his antics, it came out as a moan.

Ares's eyes darkened and pressed me against his body more, I held his shoulder so I wont fall while he kissed my neck to my shoulder. He started licking and sucking on the same spot, making me crazy "Ares, stop" I said again and still only came out as a moan, ares groaned against my skin "god, you are addicting" He mumbled.

His kisses stopped my shoulder and as soon as he pulled away from my skin, I gasped for air and in relief for him to stop "The mark is not permanent sweetheart," he hushed
"so don't give me a chance to make it permanent and whatever is mine stays with me till the end."
