Chapter 63

William's POV

I looked out of the balcony while In Deep thoughts, It's been 5 years since Ares and I went to the real world. After seeing Ares died, I was about to lose hope but when the Wizard told me that he could heal him but forget his past memories and I had no choice but to just bear with it.

Better than losing a king and a friend, Trying so hard to get back his memories but nothing works until The late King, his father died from heart attack.

He became a king without anyone beside to rule The Kingdom of Xeatreninth with him, and he even became crueler than before. He kills, tortures and hurts the innocents, even hunting for animals was his hobby before. But now hunting for innocents to please his desire of killing.

I couldn't do anything, The people were hopeless and kept praying for someone to rescue and save them all. Everything is back before Ares met that woman that I would never forget who changed his life.

Sometimes, I even wondered if he still remembers her. But I knew one thing about Ares now, he doesn't talk or think about love nor any woman in his 5 years. But I know right now that we are hopeless and have nothing to expect more greater things to this Kingdom and just waiting for our time to pass away.

I stared the clock and began looking out the wild. Where exactly is he out again tonight? I guess hunting some innocents again. A knock on my door interrupted my thoughts "Come In" I said and turned around.

Revealing, bella. She is my private maid and my lover. "My love, How're you?" She asked while hugging me, making me hug her back with a sigh "I'm well, my love. I'm worried about our King" I told her and she sighed "I know, It's been tough these years. How we wish he could change for his people" She replied.

I nodded and release a sigh "He's been cruel to his people, I tried to confront and tell him but he doesn't listen" I said. Bella replied "He stopped a commoner couple once and killed both of them, I fear that if he finds out about us-" She cutted her own sentence as she cried, making me pull her into my arms.

"Non non. ça n'arrivera jamais, mon amour. Je nous protégerai"
(No no, It's never going to happen, my love. I will protect us) I comfort her and hugged her closer. "I will never let him hurt you."

Delia's POV

A bird's chirp forced me to open my eyes and yawned deeply, the nature sun hitting my face and it made me feel good somehow. Opening my eyes, I looked around for a while before I was about to go back to sleep, I realized.

Widening my eyes, I sat up from the.. grass? And looked around the familiar trees and the smell of nature, sound of trees. Standing up from the ground, I turn myself around while looking up to the trees. "I am back" I whispered to myself unbelievably.

"Wait, what? How?!" I grabbed my hair to think "Tears.. tears of memories" I said as I remembered what I thought before sleeping, Ares.. so I am back because I dropped a tear in the book as I thought of Ares and my friends? But.. I was about to return this book this morning.."

But, I guess here I'll never skip a day in the real world.. I looked around and gasped to myself with my palm on my mouth "I AM BACK!! YOHOO!!" I screamed excitedly and happily to see my friends again for a very long time!

First name that was on my mind was Edmund. I looked around and walked to the left side hopefully to find a carriage and meet Edmund again like before. I still remembered where he live, I hope he still lives there.

I smiled while looking around the view, finally I got out of the forest. I found a small village but no Palace, It was just a small simple village with just 10 houses.

I hope I can find a place to stay for a while then ask them where Ares's Kingdom is. I even forgot what was his Kingdom's name but I would never forget that man.

Knocking on the door of one of the house, the door opened revealing a Middle aged woman but a little older than me "Oui?" She asked while looking at me, Gosh. I forgot to learn this language while I was at home. "Uhm, Good evening hello. My name is Delia and I-I .. need a place to stay While I look for a path way back to my home." I replied with hopeful eyes.

She nodded and opened the door wider for me "Please, come" I sighed in relief and thank her before entering her house "Where do you come from?" She asked, I replied while looking at her "F-far away from here, I just come to visit the Kingdom of.. I forgot, sorry" I said.

Why did I even forgot the name of the kingdom, how bad of me. "It's Okay.. but.. why are you wearing Chemise?" She asked and look down at my nightgown. I quickly covered myself, Goodness! That was embarrassing. This is underwear for them. I'm so glad that people outside never saw me like this except her.

"Oh! Well, I.. my dress was torn from running" I replied while looking at her, She furrowed her brows "You were chased?" She asked and I just nod my head "Well,.. Yes! Actually chased by a wol-" My words got cut off by her "Chased by the King of Xeatreninth" She whispered while staring at the blank wall.

I furrowed my brows and I realized, It was Ares's Kingdom she was talking about! "Xeatrin- what?" "Xeatreninth, I live there once. I barely escaped that hell hole kingdom. The king is too cruel" She said before bursting out in tears.

I quickly made my way to her and patted her back "T-the king? But I thought the King was good" I said and she shook her head "no, The king is so cruel. He killed my family and now I was left alone" She replied while crying, I thought deeply. The king, Ares's Father is cruel? But he was so kind to me and his people when I haven't left..

But, I guess his true colors are out now when He knew his son Ares died. I looked up to her in pity for her family before I said something that made her widened her eyes "Please, Tell me where is the Kingdom of xeatreninth. I am going."
