PETER AND SUSAN tumbled clumsily into the soft snow, landing with an undignified thud. They quickly brushed off the powdery flakes, adjusting their dishevelled clothes and smoothing their hair. As they took in their surroundings, disbelief washed over them. Peter stared at the white expanse beneath him, his mind struggling to comprehend the impossible. Susan's mouth formed a perfect "o" as she surveyed the unfamiliar landscape. The notion that they had stepped into a magical realm through a wardrobe seemed preposterous. Her blue eyes widened, and she ran her hand over the snowy ground, feeling a shiver of cold travel up her spine. Peter, equally stunned, let out a deep sigh, breaking the silence that hung in the air.

"Impossible," Susan gasped, her voice filled with wonder and disbelief. She rose from the ground, her gaze darting around in awe. The idea that she had stumbled upon a fantastical land hidden within a wardrobe was difficult to accept. "It can't be real."

"Don't worry," Lucy chimed in, a mischievous smirk playing on her lips. She looked down at her older siblings, revelling in their astonishment.

"I suppose saying we're sorry wouldn't quite cover it," Peter admitted, guilt washing over him. He adjusted his tousled blonde hair and sighed, his eyes scanning the unfamiliar terrain.

"No, I don't suppose it would," Lucy replied, her tone teasingly sad. With two quick steps, she knelt in the snow, forming a snowball in her small hands.

"But this might!" she exclaimed, a mischievous giggle escaping her lips as she hurled the snowball at Peter. In an instant, a full-fledged snowball fight erupted among the siblings.

"Ow! Stop it!" the three siblings exclaimed, their laughter filling the wintry air. But their joviality was short-lived as they realized they weren't alone. Edmund stood nearby, muttering under his breath, annoyance evident as he brushed snow off his arm.

"You little liar," Peter accused, pointing an accusing finger at his younger brother.

"You didn't believe her either," Edmund retorted, defensive and still smarting from the snowball assault.

"Apologize immediately," Peter commanded, attempting to reign in his rising anger.

"Ow! Alright! I'm sorry!" Edmund conceded, his irritation giving way to compliance.

"It's okay. Some kids just don't know when to stop pretending," Susan added, attempting to diffuse the tension.

The Pevensie siblings ventured deeper into the woods, eventually stumbling upon the ruins of Tumnus the Faun's house. They discovered only the remnants of a treaty, evidence of Tumnus' arrest at the hands of Jadis, the self-proclaimed "queen" of Narnia.
