" I miss being able to give you everything. Because you deserve the world. "

TWO YEARS.

Two years since Olivia and the Pevensies last saw Narnia. So much had changed since then.

The war had eased up, and the children went back to Finchley. Olivia started living with her aunt, who happened to be a friend of Helen Pevensie and her neighbour in Finchley.

The Pevensie's dad had come back from the war, but there was still a hole left inside each and every single one of them.

Lucy, Susan and Olivia attended Saint Finbar's school, while Edmund and Peter studied in another school just across the street called Hendon House. It was quite lucky for them since they started at the same time and their schools were really close, which meant they grabbed the metro together every day.

Peter had grown grumpy and more tempted to fight, which meant that every day Edmund and Olivia had to defend him from random boys Peter bickered with, which meant they were all constantly bruised, making Ed worry about Olivia even more. He was strictly against her getting into Peter's fights. She countered saying that he was hypocritical because he did too join the fights.

They were trying to keep on with their lives, even through everything they went through, and that was very difficult. Olivia constantly dreamt about Aslan and the Narnians, feeling like there was still a very strong bond between her and the land.

The girl wasn't content with her situation. So she occupied herself. She distracted herself by falling face-first into the studies of the sky. The ladies and lord of the sky were observed by the centaurs. Olivia wanted to cling to the last bit of Narnia. And that meant the sky. Her sky.

To the glimmering sky above, I give you, Queen Olivia, the Warrior.

Edmund and Olivia took a little while to adapt to their bodies, and they were much more mature now, but soon enough, they were both back to their normal selves and continued considering that they were engaged. One night, they sat down together, and talked about their relationship, now that their bodies were younger. Eventually, they gave in to their feelings and decided that they would continue that way.

" Edmund? " - asked Olivia. The boy and the girl were sitting down in the bed in Ed's room, only seeing each other due to the moonlight reflecting on the boy's window.

Edmund had his head hung down, looking stressed and defeated. Lately, he hadn't been his usual self. The youngest three of the group were the ones that missed Narnia the most.

" What's wrong? " - Olivia asked, finally.

It had been one year since their return, and Edmund grew very quickly. They were at least back in Finchley, the Pevensie father back from the war, where he had injured his shoulder and had been released from fighting. Olivia met the Pevensie parents, and they immediately adored her. They noticed the impact the girl had on their children, especially Edmund, and Helen became very glad to have Olivia in their lives. Olivia was only living in Finchley because she had moved in with her aunt, who lived very near the Pevensies, just one block away.

At least, being back in London was better than being stuck without their parents. Susan was the only one who seemed to be fine outside of Narnia.

" You know exactly what's wrong, Olivia. " - Edmund signed. His tone of voice wasn't sharp or strong, it simply showed that the boy was sad.

" You know, one day, we will return. " - She said, grabbing his hand.

" And how do you know? " - asked Edmund, hopeful, turning his head to face her. He looked beautiful with the moonlight on his face, highlighting his traits.

" I just... know. I have a feeling. " - She said, smiling. Edmund bit his lip, and looked at her left hand, covering his right. He returned her smile.

" I trust your feelings, more than anything. " - He lifted their intertwined hands, and kissed the back of her left hand. He opened more space for her by his side. He looked at the girl's hand and softly touched her index finger. The finger where Olivia's alliance ring used to be.

" But more than Narnia, I miss you. " - He started, not averting his gaze from their intertwined hands. - " I miss your room next to mine. "

" Ed, I live just a block away from you. " - She giggled.

" Still, that's too far away. I miss waking up with you by my side, galloping outside the castle next to you, having a picnic with you. " - The girl kissed his forehead. - " I miss being able to give you everything. Because you deserve the world. "

Olivia looked at him and smiled. - " I love you, Ed. And no title and money influence that. We might not be in Cair Paravel anymore, but I love you just the same, if not more. "

Edmund looked at her face again and licked his lips. - " I can't give you the world anymore, but I can promise one day I can. " - Edmund stood up quickly, and opened up a small box on top of his cabinet. He grabbed a small piece of wool and went back to his bed.

He got to one knee and smiled. - " Olivia, I promise that one day, when we are older, I will give you a proper ring. " - Edmund grabbed her hand and wrapped the small piece of wool in a knot that resembled a ring. - " But now, I can only give you this. Olivia Kirke Olmore, I know I have asked this already, but, will you be my wife? " - He asked, offering the ring.

" Yes. " - Olivia giggled, and Edmund smiled, placing the piece of wool on her index finger. He grabbed her by the waist and started spinning her around.

" You also know what day it is? " - Edmund asked.

" October 5th. The same day you proposed to me in Narnia, except with a few years of difference. " - She smiled. Edmund placed her on the ground and leaned his forehead against hers.

" I love you, my fiancée. "

" I love you more, Edmund Olmore. " - The boy cackled lowly as the girl said that.

" Edmund Olmore? What about Olivia Pevensie? " - He asked.

" I think they both sound nice. " - She said, wrapping her arms around his neck.

" I love you so much. " - He said, kissing her forehead.

And that night one year after returning from Narnia remained forever in their memories, October 5th becoming their personal date. And every day back in Finchley, Edmund and Olivia fell more and more in love.
