You and Leo started scheming, trying to figure out what was happening.
Before you could even demand a quest, two other campers claimed that older siblings said they weren't their godly parent's children.
One was named Jade Princely, she was supposed to be a daughter of Athena. She was a cheerful person with bright red hair, green eyes, and freckles. The other was a boy named Logan Boyman, supposed son of Apollo. He was a quiet surfer-type dude, with curly blonde hair and blue eyes.
Leo and Logan became pretty good friends, because they spent a lot of time together. Jade never really made an effort to become friends. Maybe she didn't like you, maybe she was just shy. You didn't really know.
Eventually you got around to asking Chiron for a quest.
"What do you intend on doing?" he asked.
"Well, sir, we'd go to Olympus and ask the gods ourselves what exactly is happening."
Chiron nodded a bit.
"I don't care, go ahead."
"Shouldn't we..I dunno get a prophecy first?"
"Sure, okay."
He called for someone to fetch Rachel, and she got back fast.
Rachel was one of the only ones who actually felt comfortable around you. Probably because she wasn't a demigod either.
"Okay guys, what can I do for ya?" she asked happily, her red hair blowing in her face.
"Uh, we'd like a prophecy." You said, while the others nodded.
"Well let's see..."
She seemed to search her mind until slumping down on her chair while green smoke poured from her mouth.
Her voice became, not Rachel's, but a raspy voice that sounded like these would be its last words.
"Four will go to Olympus where evil remains.
They'll be taken to their prison bound tight in chains.
The only way out is faith in a friend.
Their names will be saved if done right in the end.
But listen and remember what I have said,
Choose the right paths, or two will be dead."
She sat back up as though nothing had happened.
"Okay, so there you have it, go ahead and fulfill it."
She headed back to her cave, leaving us all awestruck.
"T-two will be dead?" Jade asked.
"If we don't do it right." I assured. Though it probably didn't make her feel much better.
Logan remained silent, his face expressionless. In no way did that kid act like a surfer, no matter how much he might look the part.
Lately, you guys had stayed in bunker nine because people didn't like you. Sometimes you thought of the stupidity of people. Mortals weren't demigods and the camp wasn't disgusted by them.
You sighed and watched Leo tinker with something on the table.
Logan and Jade sat on the couch, talking about the gods know what. Logan laughed and you watched him pick something out of Jade's hair. She laughed too.
You smiled. They were kinda cute. You thought about how they were younger though. You and Leo were both fifteen, but Jade was twelve and Logan, thirteen.
Getting bored with watching them, you turned back to Leo.
"What exactly are you doing?" You asked.
"Making something for the quest tomorrow."
"What is it?"
"Ah, you wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, would you?"
You smiled. "No I guess not."
You sat around for a bit longer, then walked over to the back of the couch.
You leaned over backwards in between Jade and Logan groaning that you were "boooooorrrrreeeeddddd!"
They didn't pay attention to you, so you got up and went over to Leo. You repeated the process, but just leaned in front of him.
He smiled and rolled his eyes. You watched him pull a book and pencil out of a drawer. He shoved them towards you.
"Here, you're good at drawing, so draw."
"No, I'm not good at drawing."
"Yes you are. Draw me something."
"Fine. What do you want me to draw?"
"Uh, Draw you and me."
It was your turn to roll your eyes.
"Artist's third biggest pet peeve. When someone asks you if you can draw them. It's really annoying."
"Well sorry, but that's my request."
Leo chuckled and returned to his work. You frowned and returned to the new sketchbook.
You started drawing. So far, you thought the picture looked terrible because it was far from what you had in mind, but that's how art is.
You ripped it out and were about to crumple it up, but Leo snatched it out of your hand.
"Hey it's good." He said.
You rolled your eyes.
"If you think that, you can keep it. just don't make me look at it." You replied.
He laughed a little and leaned over a bit, but seemed to hesitate and draw back.
You didn't say anything, but you found that odd.
Leo turned back to his work table.
You sat on your stool, doodling in the book. When you finally looked up, leo was hunched over his desk and softly snoring.
You smiled. Logan and Jade were also asleep on the couch. You couldn't find a blanket, but you curled up on the floor anyway. You closed your eyes and eventually fell asleep.

**********

Leo woke you up and you helped gather everything up. You were planning on heading to Olympus today. After a bit more packing, you headed out.
You easily hailed a taxi. People didn't look at you funny in the mortal world. You got to the Empire State Building. The only problem was, there was nobody watching the front desk.
"Hello?" You called.
No answer.
You rang the little bell on the counter.
Still no answer.
You peeked over the counter and found the button.
You pressed it.
When the elevator opened, it was pitch black inside, even though the light from the lobby should've flooded in.
You and the others stepped cautiously into the elevator. It was cold. Really cold. With a slightly shaking hand, you pushed the glowing 600th floor button, and the doors closed.
The cold was almost suffocating. It bit into your skin. It seemed to whisper in your ear, isolating you from the others.
"(y/n), they don't know you. They don't know what you're really like. If they saw you for you, they'd leave forever. Who needs their friendship when they'll be just like the other campers?"
You started to crouch down. You rocked back and forth on your feet while you tried to picture Leo, like in your dream.
He sent the shadows and darkness away. You tried to hold him in place so he wouldn't leave like that one night.
You opened your eyes, and realized a) the light was on, b) the shadows were gone, and c) that everyone was looking at you.
You unclenched your fists and slowly stood up.
"Are...are you okay?" Asked Logan.
You nodded.
There was a loud DING, and the doors opened.
