The Girl In The Woods

The next day, Leo met you after breakfast.

"So, what do you want to do today?" He asked.

You shrugged.

Leo opened his mouth again, but was interrupted by an earsplitting scream.

You ran towards where the sound came from, Leo following close at your heels. You got to the edge of the woods and hesitated for a moment. You continued on anyway.

You saw a girl and a boy sitting on the ground. Someone else was laying over their laps. The girl looked quite terrified.

"What happened?" You asked.

"Uh, we came out here to get some. . .alone time." The girl said. Her voice was wobbling. "We sat down, and this girl just walked out from deeper in the woods, and fell over on our laps."

Leo and You knelt down and helped get the two of them out from under the body. You left Leo to make sure they were okay, while you checked the girl.

She had short blonde hair, which was extremely dirty. It looked as though she had been in the woods for months. She had almost no clothes, wearing only a sports bra and torn shorts. Her shoes were worn almost all the way through, and her legs and stomach were covered in small scrapes and bruises.

After a bit more careful inspection, you noticed a steady flow of blood coming from her under her shorts.

You awkwardly lifted them up a bit, and saw a huge gash that was gushing blood.

"Leo! I need some cloth."

He handed something to you, and you covered the gash, pressing on it hard. You needed to stop the bleeding if she was gonna live.

"Check her pulse! I don't know if she's still alive!"

You saw Leo press his fingers to her neck out of the corner of your eye. You also noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Leo! Where is your shirt?" You asked.

"You're mopping up blood with it." He replied, smiling.

"I hope you didn't like this shirt. Blood stains."

"Ah, It's fine. She needed help."

Leo found a pulse, and you breathed a sigh of relief.

"Okay, I stopped most of the bleeding. Let's get her back to camp."

Leo helped you get her on your back, and the three of you headed back to camp.

"So she just came out of the woods and passed out?"

Percy had been standing outside the big house, and stopped you when you tried to enter.

"Yes! Can we please go see Chiron?" You asked hurriedly.

"Chiron isn't here right now. But we can take her to the infirmary."

Percy led Leo and you through the big house to a room in the back. You had never been in there, but Leo had.

You laid the girl one one of the beds per the other Apollo kids' instructions.

You were also rushed out of the room as soon as Will got a look at her. All there was left to do was wait.

Hey guys, this chapter is really short, but at least there is one. I'm working on it, and I've got some story ideas in mind, so keep waiting.

I don't have a favorite. Anything salty or sweet.
