Your POV
Your legs were starting to get tired. You had been walking nonstop. The sun was already coming up.
"Sam, we've been walking for hours. Can't we stop somewhere?" you asked.
He mumbled something about wishing he could shadow-travel.
"Let's just stop at a little motel. I have money." You persuaded.
"Fine." he grunted angrily.
He obviously was upset that he couldn't teleport.
You checked into a cheap motel.
You got a pretty nice room, with two beds, a TV, and a small couch.
You were the only one small enough to sleep comfortably on the couch, so you set up a bed there.
Leo and Sam each got a bed. Even though you had set up a little bit of bedding on the couch, you sat with Leo for awhile.
You just cuddled for a while, and then Leo's eyes started to droop.
You could tell he was about to fall asleep, so you curled your fingers into his hair and kissed him.
You were interrupted by a loud snore coming from Sam's bed.
It was obviously fake.
You laid with Leo until he fell asleep, then you crept back to the couch, and fell asleep promptly.

"Okay guys, were getting to mount st. Helens today." Sam said.
"Where are we, anyway?" you yawned.
"North Dakota."
You sat straight up.
"You expect us to walk from North Dakota to Washington in a day?"
Sam nodded.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath.
"Sam, I don't think physical human limitations would allow us to walk that far in a day."
He looked thoughtful, as though only remembering that humans were different than...whatever he was.
"Okay, let's take a bus."
"Better."
Leo was still exhausted, hardly paying any attention to the conversation.
You waited at the bus stop with the boys, until the it came.
You stepped on, and got in a seat next to Leo. Sam sat on your other side.
Leo fell asleep, and you laid your head on his shoulder.
Eventually, you closed your eyes and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
