Felix laid in his bed on his back, the memories of the incident in the break room at work clouded his mind. Seeing Hyunjin profusely beating the man to a pulp, that murderous look in his eyes.
It did scare him.
He wasn't sure what to think.
He wanted to justify his actions as Hyunjin defending him—but there was no need to go that far. Felix is hesitant to back to work. The feeling of all eyes on him made him shudder.
He invited Seungmin over to talk, he wanted advice on what he should do.
"I understand that he was... defending you but—" Seungmin sighed heavily.
"I think I'll extend my personal leave." Felix spoke softly, "Give me more time to think about it." Felix sighs leaning his head on Seungmins shoulder.
Seungmin wanted to protect Felix from people like Hyunjin. Felix and Seungmin told each other everything, Felix was the first person he every told about his affair with Hyunjin, He immediately grew jealous and protective. He loved Felix...more than a friend...but Felix doesn't know.
Seungmin felt his heart pounding in his chest when Felix laid his head on his shoulder, feeling his warmth.
"I should probably go, I have to meet with my manager." Seungmin stood up almost abruptly. "Oh well, when can you come over again?" Felix asked through pursed lips.
"I'll try come by tomorrow, you should get some sleep." Seungmin said before he left Felix's apartment.
It was right at that moment Felix's phone pings with a message...from Hyunjin. Felix sighs again, hesitant at first but he open the message.
"Are you free tomorrow? There's something I need to show you."
Felix tapped the sides of his phone biting his lip, he stared at the mess for a good minute before finally responding.
ME: Yeah, sure.
Hyunjin who was in the parking lot of White Wing psychiatric hospital received Felix's message and he smiled a bit in relief.
He was wanted to make up with Felix (hoping that nothing would be broken), he figured his actions at work surprised him, he's pretty sure the rumors are spreading at work.
And the board of directors are breathing down his neck to try and fire Felix... he'd burn the world before he'd let something like that happen.
Hyunjin walked into the hospital and walked up to reception, he asked for Mrs. Lee, a staff member happily showed him to her room as she felt that Mrs. Lee never had any visitors.
Hyunjin walked into Mrs. Lee's room where he saw her sitting in a chair by a window starring outside. Her face was pale, he eyes should almost no life, like she was cold and blank.
"Is she—can she hear me?" Hyunjin murmurs to the staff member, the staff clears her throat before speaking. "Mrs.Lee you have a visitor.r. Hwang."
Mrs. Lee turns her head slowly and looks at Hyunjin, "Mrs. Lee...my name is Hwang Hyunjin. I've been wanting speak with you. I know how you are and I can't imagine the pain you've been through but... I'm here to help you, will you let me?" Hyunjin approached her and crouched down to her level.
Mrs. Lee's lips quivered as she stared at him.
"Why...?" She mumbled.
"Because...your son. Felix Lee, he's alive and well. I know he's in pain...that he still has hope that you'll come back for him."
Mrs. Lee gasps in shock as a tear rolls down her cheek. "My son? Oh, no..." Mrs. Lee broke down in tears, covering her mouth with hand. "Please, please, let me see my son... please."
