tiana panicked when she got the notification, because this was the last thing she was expecting.
she and trent hadn't talked for years now, they had texted a bit after she left but the contact between the two quickly lessened as both of them got busier and busier.
but seeing as tiana would be working very close to him soon, she saw no reason as to why she shouldn't respond to his message.
however, before she could do this she had to call her friends for help, when julia and louise both picked up tiana immediately started explaining the situation.
"now what in gods name do i say to him?" julia and louise were quite for a moment before louise spoke up, "what did he even say?"
"i haven't opened his message yet." this made louise hang up and julia laugh, "you haven't even read his message yet? girl, go do your thing, you've got this!"
when julia hung up aswell tiana opened instagram and clicked on her dm's with trent for the first time in years.

tiana didn't notice she was shaking until she put down her phone, she didn't know why trent made her this nervous, there was no reason for her to be nervous either.
after their conversation, working at liverpool suddenly felt a lot more scary than it did before.
she quickly sent her friends a message telling them how very awkward her conversation with trent was, still cursing at herself for not being able to have a normal chat with the guy.
when she got downstairs she was excitedly greeted by her nieces who bombarded her with stories about their school day, the show they watched and a new movie that would be in the movie theatre soon.
spending some time with her family instantly uplifted her mood, she played some games with rike (virgil's wife), and watched another show with nila and jadi (her nieces)
