tiana stood outside as she put her phone back into her pocket. she looked up at the sky, people still weren't done with firing off fireworks even though it was almost 1.30am.
she had a glass of champagne in her hand and chatted with her mother and some of the neighbours.
it wasn't cold at all, as it was actually the hottest new year's eve in the dutch history, but tiana still had her coat wrapped around her body.
as it got later and later people slowly started to go back inside their houses and there were less fireworks in the sky. tiana and her family went back inside too, all getting ready for bed.
tiana would be flying back to england later that day, seeing as she needed to be back at work the next day.
as tiana laid on the bed in her childhood bedroom she thought back to everything that happened in 2022.
she thought about finishing off her study and getting her diploma, she thought about the summer she spent in holland with all her friends.
then she thought back to being back in liverpool for the first time in four years, and how much going back had changed her life.
tiana now had a really good job which she also enjoyed a lot, she had her own apartment, and she was even dating someone who younger her only could've wished for.
you could easily say that 2022 was one of tiana's best years, with all that she achieved in that year. tiana was extremely proud of herself and all that she has accomplished.
with all those memories stuffed inside her head tiana slowly drifted off to sleep, the only noise being some fireworks going off outside.
