"Where is she?" Owen demanded opening the office door. "Darling," he whispered spotting Dr. Green applying a bandage to Mia's forehead.

"I'm okay," she barely smiled as he knelt down in front of her and took her hands in his.

"What happened?" A couple of the men growled.

"Da, who I kill?" Raven glared.

"No one," Mia shook her head then winced.

"Why?" Raven growled, "He hurt you."

"The police took him away, Raven," Sean said holding out a pill for Mia to take.

"I can't," she shook her head. "I haven't had a chance to eat yet."

"Thank you for being honest," Sean nodded.

She pulled Owen closer and whispered in his ear. He barely smirked when he pulled back, "Mr. Taylor will love to make you another club sandwich with avocados and cucumbers, Darling."

"Definitely," North nodded.

There was a knock on the door and the men turned to see a police officer standing there. "Can I ask you some questions, Dr. Gillyard?"

"What would you like to know, Officer?" Mia asked clearing her throat.

"What transpired Doctor?"

"My patient was admitted for trouble breathing. I noticed bruises on her arms and healing bruises around her neck. I looked into her records and noticed she had been admitted multiple times. At that time the man tried to come into the room demanding he be with my patient. There are no records of her being married and no one was on her paperwork for me to release information, so I tried to tell him that he was not permitted. He grew hostile and when I called security he lunged at me, making me hit my head a couple of times. Dr. Green rushed in and got me out of the way. Officer, he needs to stay away from my patient. There are multiple records of her being admitted."

"I'll do everything I can, Doctor, thank you."

"If you have any more questions, you can reach us at this number," Dr. Green said holding out a card. "I'm taking her home for observation."

"Come on, Miss Gillyard," Owen said putting his hand under her elbow to help keep her steady as they left the office. Once they stepped outside her step faltered and he wrapped his arm around her waist, "I have you, Darling."

"Tank you, Daddy," she whispered as the tears welled up in her eyes.

"Once we get home, let's try to get you to eat and slip so you can rest properly," Owen said as she laid her head on his arm.

"Yes Sir," She whispered as she tightened her grip on his jacket. "Hurt."

"I know Darling," he said softly. "But I am so proud of you. We all are."

"What will happen?" she asked as North opened the car door.

"Dr. Roberts will protect the patient and Owen will press all the charges he can for you," Kota said as Owen removed his jacket and wrapped it around her before she got into the backseat with him following so he can sit beside her. Normally Owen would never sit in the back but right then he needed to be with her so he would sit in the back. He purposely refused to acknowledge the shocked looks on the rest of his family's faces besides Dr. Green who was just beaming.

Owen kissed the top of her head and wrapped his arm around her as North carefully left the hospital. By the time they reached the mansion, she was nauseous from her head throbbing. "Keep your eyes closed, Darling," Owen whispered as they got out of the car. He gently picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist.

"Max, down," Kota whispered as Max jumped up eagerly to greet everyone. He sat down and whimpered when Mia sniffled.

"Puppy," she whispered. "Baba pup pup."

"Yes Bunny, Max wants to give you kisses," he said softly. "Let's get you into some comfy clothes so Dr. Green can check your boo boos and North can make you some blueberries."

"Mixy?" She whimpered making him smile.

"We will put on Mickey and Fantasia as soon as we get you cleaned up."

"Baba," she held her arms out and he kissed her nose before picking her up. "Boo boos."

"I know Bunny, but we'll get you all fixed up," He walked her into his room and a few minutes later he came back with her in some shorts and a grey tee shirt of his with some fuzzy socks. He had taken her hair down and put a couple of jingle bracelets on her arm which she was giggling about.

"Alright Little One, let me see your boo boos," Sean said smiling gently as Owen sat down on the couch.

"No," she pouted.

"Look Mia," Luke said popping up behind Sean making faces.

"Bunny," she pouted.

"I'm so sorry, Bunny watch," Luke grinned as he popped down behind Sean then popped back up while holding a magician Mickey stuff animal. "Peek A Boo."

Mia squealed in excitement and clapped. "Baba!"

Owen smiled as she hugged the Mickey and the music from Fantasia started playing. "I see."
