Chapter 23: Ishimura and Valor

General POV

(As I said, if I go back on my on my own words and schedules, don't be too surprised)

The Wall was still under construction as the many members of Azur Lane settled into the place and started to call the place home.

One night Andy was shunting in the yards on Thomas helping the ships move their stuff into the dorms when Void Walker walked up to him.

Void Walker: "Sir, we have an issue." she said.

Andy: "Hm?" he hummed, tugging on a line, "What's up Void Walker?"

Void Walker: "The Sakuras are trying to expand due to our absence." she reported, making Andy do a spit take with the water he'd been drinking, "They've been contained in the South but they're encroaching on Midway Atoll."

Midway: "Those bitches!" he yelled, "Can't bring themselves to do a fair battle can they?"

Andy: "Calm down Midway, let's meet 'em in battle." he said, "Midway, you and your sisters are following me and my girls out there!"

Midway: "Yes sir!" he saluted, going off to find them.

Andy: "Void Walker, scramble another fleet to form a defensive line around the Alaskan coast." he ordered, "And get the Siren Capital on high alert!"

Void Walker: "Right!" she said.

Andy then raced off and grabbed his fleet, which was basically all the Ironblood ships on base.

Out on the seas the Ironblood ships raced ahead in formation at over 30 knots.

Tirpitz: "Do ve have a precize count on zhese enemies Kommandant?" she asked.

Andy: "The fleet attacking this area should just be Takao, Atago, and a few non-kansen escorts." he stated, "But there are also a few reports of Taihou being around so be on guard!"

Tirpitz nodded as Z23 spoke up next.

Z23: "What's zhe plan Kommandant?" she asked.

Andy: "Um......would you be mad if I said I'm still working on it?" he asked sheepishly.

Z23 looked at him incredulously before smiling and shaking her head in mock anger.

Z23: "You never did change that adapt on the go attitude did you." she said, amused.

Andy: "Well, it kept me alive this far." he shrugged, his fleet chuckling behind him, "Alright, I got 'em, 8 miles out and closing fast!"

Ahead of them Takao, Atago, Ayanami, 3 mass-production Fubuki's, and a mass-production Kongou sailed in formation.

Andy: "No sign of Taihou, seems she's more intelligent than her seniors." he joked.

Z1: "Orders Kommandant?" she asked.

Andy: "Split the escorts up from the kansen and take 'em out." he ordered, "Me, Z23, Z1, Eugen, and Spee are on Takao, Atago, and Ayanami; everyone else blow those Mass-Production models to the bottom of the sea!"

Ironblood Girls: "Jawhol Kommandant." they said.

With a nod the fleet separated into their teams and charged in.

Takao, Atago, and Ayanami on the other hand were steaming full speed completely unaware of the enemies....until 15 inch artillery rained down on them.

Takao: "Battle stations! We have enemies!" she yelled.
