The ostensibly neverending pages of the "Blue-Striped Devil" droned on, regularly repeating the same information in separate contexts.

"The Blue-Striped Devil is a monster that feasts on men who haven't trained to their peaks. When it is around, no one of the male sex should feel secure."

"This legendary beast takes men in the night, eating their flesh to maintain its strength."

"Abandon all hope if you witness its terrifying glowing eyes."

"Running is pointless. Drop to your knees and pray, instead."

Despite interest in the subject matter, Kyameron couldn't help but feel astronomically disinterested in it. Page after page went past with nothing of interest coming up, to the point Kyameron finally managed to drift off into sleep. But, as he'd grown accustomed to, nightmares of Akaza plagued his rest. Images of Rengoku with that fiend's arm in his stomach and his mortifying retinas burned themselves into his cortex, lodging themselves atop any pleasant memories of his former master. Frustration overtook his actions, chucking the book across the room and into the far wall, knocking over another stack of literature. Seven books, counting the one he'd just whipped, fell to his already cluttered and crowded floor. Figuring he'd nothing better to partake in, considering the horrific weather outside and the training room still occupied by Tanjiro and his friends, he stood from his chair. He began gathering up the garbage littering the floor, any stray bits of glass from a vase he'd smashed the night before, and any books that may've been lying on the floor. It was an arduous and grimy process, leaving his uniform polluted with dust and dirt and his hair in a state of unhingement. 'Stupid, stupid cleaning...' he muttered, reaching under his bed to grab two books that had slid underneath it. Dusting off the first, titled "All About Wisteria Poison," he set it down on his nightstand. The second book's title was far more appealing to him, "Most Gruesome Demon Attacks OAT." Immediately taking an interest in the monster-sized book, he took it to his desk and started reading instantaneously. Flipping through the book revealed several accounts of abhorrent demon attacks, many likely committed by Muzan Kibutsuji himself. However, while scanning it, one account caught his eye: "The Kenjutsu Dojo Slaughter." Kyameron quickly began reading from the first word,

"Demon attacks have been one of the leading causes of Japanese fatalities for over half a millennium, ranging in victims from singular to full-on massacres. Genocides, in some cases. One of these cases occurred one hundred and thirty-three years ago, during the Edo era. An entire martial arts dojo was savagely slaughtered in cold blood by an unknown proprietor, but it is nearly certain a demon of immense strength committed the act because of the aftermath. No human could do such damage. Knowledge of this massacre is vastly limited after it got purged from records for being considered too absurd to have been confirmed. The only part of the Kenjutsu Dojo Massacre that remains recorded is the sixty-seven of a possible sixty-eight victims, with the lone survivor being the only woman in the building. The event was thought of as so violent that the survivor went mad afterwards, making her a useless outlet for information. The Authorities uncovered no motive for the attack, nor was the attacker ever found. The only event possibly even slightly related is the poisoning of the rival Soryuu Dojo's family, with two residents being found dead and the other missing. This attack doesn't have the highest casualty count in history, but it is certainly the bloodiest."

While reading through the account, something clicked in his brain. Scrambling around the room to recover The Blue-Striped Devil book he'd been reading all night, which he'd misplaced after cleaning up. Finding it buried underneath a pile of discarded books that didn't interest him, he pulled it out and swiftly powered through pages to the background information section.

"The Blue-Striped Devil is a monster that feasts on men who haven't trained to their peaks. When it is around, no one of the male sex should feel secure."
