More Than Words

Chapter 37

                         Eunbi's group finally reached the apartment and are now preparing the sandwiches. Hyewon and Yujin are silently watching Eunbi and Wonyoung as they cook the eggs.

                         After cooking the eggs they went ahead and got the tuna cans. Eunbi then asked Hyewon and Yujin to prepare the tuna sandwiches while Wonyoung helps her with the egg sandwiches. The two nodded and started the work.

                        "I wonder if they're on their way already", Wonyoung muttered under her breath. As if on cue, all their phones rang. Pausing for a second to check their phones, they saw that the other girls are calling them for a group call.

                       "You can answer them, unnie", Wonyoung said to Eunbi, to which the older just nodded at and pressed the accept button. Immediately, her phone's audio spread throughout the kitchen with how loud the others were.

                     Chaeyeon told them that they've just finished purchasing the snacks and beverages and are on their way to the parking lot. Yuri and Chaeyeon were also telling the others about the funny things Yena and Sakura shamelessly did at the store.

                          They expected nothing less from Yena, she sure is a goofball. Then, looking at the video call, Yujin noticed that Minju and Chaewon are not with Hitomi and Nako.

                        "Minju-unnie, why are you guys not with Nako-unnie and Hitomi-unnie?", Yujin pointed out which caused the other girls, except for Nako's group, to furrow their brows in confusion as they see that what Yujin said is seemingly right.

                      "Oh- Minju said she has someone to meet and Chaewon-unnie offered to tag along with her so Chaewon-unnie said that we should go first and they'll just follow", Nako explained. "Yeah, it won't take long right Minju?", Chaewon uttered as she turned to the said girl who's walking beside her.

                        Minju nodded before muttering, "It will only take a few minutes... I'll just have to talk to someone". The girls nodded, understanding the latter. "Then how about you guys over there? How're the sandwiches going?", Yena asked Eunbi's group.

                    "Pretty well", Eunbi responded, putting another sandwich on the bag after finishing in assembling it. "We'll be done after this", Eunbi continued while helping Wonyoung.

                       "Well then see you guys... I'm getting pretty hungry", Yena said as they seemed to have reached the parking lot. "Yeah see you", the girls replied as they ended the call.

                    After the call, Eunbi got another call but this time she's not very happy on who it was. "Excuse me guys I'll just take this call for a second", Eunbi said. "Sure unnie", the maknaes said, while Hyewon just nods at her. She grabbed her phone and went to her bedroom.

                    Answering the call she didn't even wait for the caller to say anything. "What is it that you want?", Eunbi asked coldly, trying to keep herself calm. The person on the other line chuckled, the sound being much more deep as the caller may have had some kind of voice changer effect on its voice.

                     "Being a little chilly, aren't we?", the caller smugly said over the phone, Eunbi clenches her fist as she weren't exactly happy that the caller finally said something after giving her silent treatment whenever she answers the calls.

                     "I don't have time to play with your games. Just tell me what you want", Eunbi stated, still relatively calm. "Oh- no need to rush... Now, missy... I'll put you off with a little warning... You'll see my little surprise later", the caller said ominously before ending the call.
