The three were back in Cloud Recesses the following afternoon. Wei Wuxian has also moved in with Wangji. The two promised that will not be intimate until after they marry. It would be hard but they understood why they needed to. Even though Wuxian could take something to keep himself from getting pregnant, they didn't want to risk it. It could be ineffective and he could still get pregnant and Wuxian needed stability. Marriage was a way to get it. Not that Wangji would let him face it alone.

Wuxian, in both lifetimes had not yet seen Wangji's home, so when he entered, he looked around curiously. Wangji didn't mind it at all. He liked the expressions Wuxian made, the occasional "O" look from his lips and his eyes glittered happily in another look. Lan Xichen had entered to see Wangji observing Wuxian.

"Wangji?" Xichen asked quietly.

Lan Wangji looked at his brother and bowed his head to acknowledge that he knew Xichen was there before turning his attention back to Wei Wuxian. Lan Xichen chuckled lightly and shook his head in amusement.

"I take it he is settled in?" Xichen asked.

"Mnn," Wangji replied with a nod, "is there anything you need?"

"No, I just wanted to check on you two, see how it's going," Xichen said and wrapped his arms around Wangji's neck and pulled him into a hug, "also, I just wanted to see my baby brother."

"Not a baby," Wangji said as he tried to get out of his grip.

"No, but you are to me," Xichen said.

Wei Wuxian looked at the two. He liked the brotherly relationship between Wangji and Xichen. He liked his adopted siblings but it's not quite the same as blood. He stood there and started to stare at the floor, thinking about what his life would be like if his parents never passed away.

What would he be doing?

Would he have a sibling or siblings?

Lan Wangji, who was still in his brother's grip caught a glimpse of Wuxian, "Wei Ying?" He asked.

Xichen let Wangji go and looked at Wuxian who was staring off into space, "A'Xian?" Xichen asked.

Wuxian didn't budge. The two walked on either side of him, "Wei Ying?" Wangji asked and gently took his hand, "Wei Ying?" He asked a little louder which finally got his attitude, "what is wrong?"

"Oh, just lost in my thoughts," Wuxian said.

Wangji could see that he was close to crying, "please? What is it?" Wangji asked.

"Ah," Wuxian said shaking his head, "seeing you and your brother, it makes me think about what would have happened if my parents lived. If I'd have siblings like you two. I have Jiang Cheng and A'Jie, but I feel like it's not the same as a blood sibling."

Lan Wangji was starting to understand. Wei Wuxian wished for a proper familial relationship. In the past he was constantly butting heads with Jiang Cheng, they still do every now and then. He is close with his sister but she is more of a motherly kind of figure. Wuxian loves being playful and it's hard for him to do that when he doesn't have anyone around to give him that outlet. Xichen and Wangji looked at each other and smiled.

Wuxian looked at the two, "what are you doing?" He asked.

Both of them pulled him into a group hug. Wei Wuxian wasn't expecting that. He started to feel that Xichen has accepted him as a brother and he is very happy about it. Wangji was his fiancé and he was being accepted into his family. They were hugging him to tell him that they are his family too, not just the Jiangs.

"Thank you both," Wuxian said.

"We hear you," Xichen said, "and if you want some older brother love, then I will give you some."

Wuxian giggled as the two let him go, "thank you, but you do not have to if you don't want to. Especially if you are just trying to make me feel better."

"I'm not lying to you," Xichen said.

Wuxian nodded, "thanks," he said.

Xichen then rubbed Wuxian on the head, messing up his hair, "I am going to head out then," he said and left.

"Not cool, Xichen-Ge, my hair," Wuxian said.

"Want my help to fix it?" Wangji asked.

"Really?" Wuxian asked.

Wangji nodded. The two sat on the bed with Wangji behind Wuxian. He removed the ribbon and took down Wuxian's hair. He then started to comb through it. Wei Wuxian was suddenly feeling like a spoiled and pampered wife.

"You are spoiling me," he said.

"I know, and I plan on doing that more," Wangji said.

"Lan Zhan," Wuxian whispered happily, "you're so good to me."

Wangji pulled Wuxian back into him, his back into Wangji's chest. Wangji's arms were around his waist and his hands rested on his stomach, "always," he whispered into Wuxian's ear, "my love, I will always be good to you."

Wuxian turned his head and let his lips meet with Wangji's. Wuxian's hands rested on top of Wangji's. The kiss was passionate but calm. Wuxian's mind was starting to go blank again. Only Wangji, can make him feel this weak and vulnerable. He always felt he had to be high on alert and keep his guard up. With Wangji, he could let his guard down and be at his most vulnerable position. Lan Wangji was similar but he was good at keeping his head clear. Even though kissing Wuxian was like kissing god himself, Lan Wangji was always content with his lips on Wuxian's. Lan Wangji pulled away after he bit Wuxian's bottom lip.

"What is with you and biting my lip?" Wuxian asked.

"I like to," Wangji said, "it's like I am claiming your lips as mine."

Wuxian giggled, "or you are just hungry for a snack and you think my lips are food."

"They do taste good," Wangji replied.

Wuxian laughed harder as he turned himself and wrapped his arms around Wangji, his arms hooked under Wangji's. His head then rested on Wangji's shoulder. The two sat there cuddling for a good amount of the day.
