"So is there anything else that is new about you that I do not know?" Wen Qing asked, "you are now adopted so that makes you an heir to the Jiang sect, and you have new robes."

"A'Jie taught me how to cook properly this time around...and I am not afraid of dogs," Wei Wuxian told her.

"How did she manage to get you to cook something without killing anyone?" Wen Qing asked playfully.

"Haha, very funny," Wuxian replied.

"Wait...not afraid of dogs anymore?" Wen Qing asked surprised.

"Mnn," Wuxian nodded, "she slowly introduced me to one of Jiang Cheng's older dogs, Jasmine. She is good around those who have a fear of dogs like I do. Aside from Lan Zhan, I almost can't go a night without her sleeping by me. She helps keep the nightmare away."

"How often do you have your nightmares?" Wen Qing asked, "I remember you had them a lot back then."

"Not as much anymore, but before I gained my memory back, I had them quite often. It was like they were trying to make me remember what happened," Wuxian said, "though, when I got my memory back, some woman spoke to me. Telling me that Lan Zhan and I have put memories back and that a couple others know of them."

"I heard a woman too," Xichen said, "she was annoying in a way."

"Why?" Wuxian asked.

"She kept trying to say things like, if you and Wangji don't get together this time, you two will never be reborn again," Xichen said.

"What?" Wuxian asked.

"Well, we are together now," Wangji said, "don't let whoever that is bother you."

"You have a point," Xichen replied.

"Qing'Jie, if you ever do what you did back at the mounds again, I won't forgive you," Wuxian warned.

"I'm sorry, A'Ying. I will not do that again," Wen Qing said, "I just thought if Wen Ning and I turned ourselves in, you'd be left alone."

"Qing'Jie, even if you didn't, they were not going to do that," Wuxian said, "I was apparently to dangerous to be kept alive."

"Which is dumb, you are not someone who lusted for power. You just wanted to protect people," Jiang Cheng said.

"They just wanted that stupid amulet," Wuxian said. He folded his arms over his chest and pouted, "I honestly don't like it was ever about me being able to use a sword or not, everyone was just so greedy."

Lan Wangji hugged Wuxian closer to him, "no need to pout, they won't get it this time around either. As we found solutions for you not to make it."

"You found solutions?" Wen Qing asked.

"We have been learning new music pieces that have different effects with them," Xichen replied, "we have plans to go look for the other iron shards soon. We killed the owl already so we will have the advantage to travel sooner."

"I'm going to be back at Lotus Pier helping Mother and Father with your family," Jiang Cheng said.

"I should stick around and help you but to avoid suspicion, I have to go back to the sect. I can be a spy for you," Wen Qing said.

"We will have to find a way for you to safely communicate with us so you don't get caught or hurt," Wuxian said.

"I'm not using Meng Yao this time," Xichen said, "he's responsible for everything that happened to A'Xian. Him, Su She, and Xue Yang."

"How did you manage to figure that out?" Wen Qing asked.

"I went back and watched all of Wei Wuxian's memories. I saw what Meng Yao planned and did. He planned everything...even planned to have me killed at some point," Xichen said.

Lan Wangji was taking a drink of tea. When he heard Xichen say that Meng Yao wanted to kill his brother back then, it infuriated him. Wangji's grip on his cup tightened which caused it to break into pieces. Wei Wuxian immediately grabbed his hand as it was now covered in cuts and had pieces of glass in his hand.

"Lan Zhan!" Wuxian said, "why?"

Wen Qing sighed and began to tend to his hand. Lan Xichen then spoke, "it's going to be okay Wangji," he said, "he will not hurt me, and he will not hurt A'Xian."

"Sorry, I just got angry," Wangji said, "I would be very hurt if you were gone."

"I'm not going anywhere," Xichen said, "not of my own choice anyway. You have my word that I will keep myself safe."

Wangji nodded.

"Well, now you have cuts on your hand," Wuxian said.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"Is that your jerking hand?" Wuxian asked shamelessly.

Lan Wangji's brow twitched, "like I would tell you."

"So it is?" Wuxian asked, "are you doing to need help with that now?"

"Wei Ying," Wangji warned, "stop it."

"Okay," he said with a shrug.

Once Wangji's hand was cleaned and wrapped, he wrapped his arms around Wuxian again, "are you upset with me?"

"You hurt yourself," Wuxian pouted, "don't do it again!"

"I will not," Wangji said and placed a kiss on Wuxian's cheek.

To give them some space the others left. Plus it was getting late so everyone was needed back at their own place before curfew, "Lan Zhan, I'm hungry...I'm not sure about you but I haven't eaten much today."

"I will go check with the kitchen staff to see if I can get you something," Wangji said.

"But you are hurt," Wuxian said.

"I have a second hand," Wangji said, "I'll be back shortly."

Wuxian nodded and watched him leave. As soon as Wangji left, Wuxian smiled and stepped out back to collect something for Wangji. He had two little bunnies sitting outside waiting. Just like before, one black and one white. Wuxian placed the two bunnies on the bed and the two just cuddled up to sleep. Wuxian even made the extra effort and tie a bow on each of them. A little blue bow on the white one and a little red bow on the black one. When Wangji returned he didn't even notice them. He sat down with Wuxian and ate their late dinner.

"Lan Zhan," Wuxian said after they finished eating.

"Hmm?" He hummed.

"Look at the bed," Wuxian replied.

Lan Wangji looked up to see the little bunnies sleeping. Lan Wangji couldn't help but smile, "You found the bunnies again."

"I will do something else but I felt that bringing them back would be a nice courting gift to you. As they are your favorite," Wuxain said.

"I like bunnies, but I like Wei Ying more," Wangji said.

Wuxian giggled and threw his arms around Wangji's neck, kissing him on the lips in the process. Lan Wangji was quick to respond and pulled him closer before wrapping his arms around him. The kiss was short but Wuxian didn't move from Wangji's lap. He just got comfortable snuggling up to him. Wangji ended up carrying him to bed. He then moved the rabbits to a safe place outside before returning lay down beside Wuxian and go to bed.
