Cloud Recesses was covered top to bottom with red and gold. There were lotus flowers and orchid bouquets, people all having a merry time inside the banquet hall. Everyone was celebrating the marriage of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. The young couple sat up front, enjoying the glamorous meal and keeping close as always. Wangji smiled, "soon my love," he said, "and I am happy to be your forever partner too."

"I keep thinking back on everything that happened," Wuxian said pulling away from the hug, "you've always been there for me, even when I was so stubborn and closed off from everyone. You never gave up on me."

"I will always be there for you, if I am ever apart from you, it is not if my own choice. I would never leave your side if I had a choice," Wangji said.

"And since we are immortal, we have better chances for that," Wuxian said, "and I am the same for you."

Wangji placed a kiss on his forehead, "finish eating," he said.

"If I eat too much then it will spoil dessert," Wuxian said with a wink and leaned in to whisper to him, "after all, I won't have my fill until I have all of you," he then took a nibble on Wangji's ear before pulling back and going back to his food.

Lan Wangji trembled as the hot breath brushed across his skin. His now husband was being daring and it was only making Wangji want to take him and ravish him even more. He hopes he will not be too rough on his husband but Wuxian makes Wangji lose his restraint very quickly.

When the two were finally in their bridal chambers, their robes and ornaments were off in seconds. Wangji's restraint snapped as he so desperately wanted him, but it was also the fact that Wuxian kept teasing him most of the night. Wuxian knew what he was getting himself into and knew he would not be able to walk for a few days but he felt it was worth it.
