Here we are! Back at it again! Who is up for another chapter on this story? I know I AM! :3 Let us continue where we left off.

Ruvyzvat's P.O.V

I am so screwed!

"You really might have a fever! Why didn't you tell me earlier? I knew something was up when you started acting weirdly." She crossed her arms with a look both angry and worried at the same time. "No, this is nothing serious," I said, trying to cover my face with my ushanka. "It must be the cold wind that's causing it to look like I'm sick." I point at the window behind me showing small droplets of rain pouring down outside. "I'm not convinced Mister Ruvyzvat." She said, taking her seat on the other side of the small table. I slowly put my ushanka down next to me and started to eat stuffing myself with food should shut my mouth.

I looked at Sarvente and she still seems troubled by it. "Don't worry about me I have a high tolerance for the cold. You should worry more about yourself Sarv." I waited for her response. "Yeah, I guess your right...guess living in cold areas gives you some sort of power against it, huh?" She gives me a small smile before praying, saying her thanks to the gods before eating her food.

After dinner, I helped Sarv with washing the dishes and she appeared to be pleased by giving her an extra hand. At times our hands brush each other making the atmosphere almost undeniably embarrassing for both of us. Her hands were soft to the touch which made me want to hold them and that led to me arguing again with my head for having these kinds of thoughts at this moment.

Sarvente was placing the plates back in the upper cabinets when I saw her looking a bit dizzy. "Sarv, you don't seem okay is everything alright?" She turned to look at me with eyes half shut. "Yeah, I'm okay don't worry-" She suddenly leaned forward, her head hitting my chest with both of her hands on my shoulder She was burning up, and I could feel her getting hotter. I pushed her back a bit then removed my gloves before touching her forehead. "Sarv, you sick." She looks up at me before slamming her head back into my chest. "Okay, maybe I'm not...fine." She murmured in my shirt. I took her by the hand and led her to her room. I hesitated to carry her up to her room but given the circumstances, she needs help and that's what I'm going to do. I gently swept her off her feet carrying her bridal style and carried her up the stairs. I could feel her breath on my neck. Focus! Focus or you'll both fall!

When I reach her room I slowly put her on the bed. turned to go and get the Medical kit from the kitchen but before I could do so she tugged on my sleeve. I looked back at her to see her on the verge of crying. "Are you- are you going to leave?" Her voice sounded so weak and vulnerable, like an abandoned and defenseless kitten. It made me remember when I asked my Mother the same question.  I took her hand and hesitantly gave it a light squeeze. "I'm not going to leave you, I'm just going to get the medkit from the kitchen. I'll be back before you know it Sarv I promise, Why don't you take the time to change while I get it." I pat her on the head before leaving and closing the door behind me. When I returned to her room with the medkit and a cup of tea, She was already in her pajamas sitting on the edge of her bed. I sat beside her putting the cup on top of the drawer next to her bed opened the medkit and took out a fever aid, gently pressing one fever aid on her forehead and other parts of her body where she seemed uncomfortable.

I gave her a handkerchief for her to blow her nose on and wrapped her with a light blanket from her bed. "Thank you..." She said with a weak smile on her face. I felt uneasy looking at her forcing a smile to reassure me that she was okay. I handed her the tea to help soothe her cold and she took it carefully off my hand before taking a small sip and letting out a relieved sigh. There was silence in the room except for Sarvente sipping her tea. "Whenever you're like this how do you manage to recover all on your own?" She took another sip. "I usually struggle from cold even back then and moving from place to place was a pain but even so I force myself, this place won't work by itself you know. Besides I can't miss the chance if someone needs guidance to reach heaven." She gave me the cup that was now empty and I put it back on top of the drawer again. She shifted, hugging her legs close to her. "How about you Ruv? Did you manage on your own after your- I mean, for the rest of your younger days did you only live by yourself? You seem to be fully capable of taking care of yourself so I thought someone taught you how?" After those questions, I fell silent I started to have images inside my head about the past and how they feel so vivid as if it just happened yesterday. "Well, I was taught by a lonely old man back when he found me freezing outside his shack. He took me in with no hesitation nor question of where I am from. I asked him why he saved me and he simply said you're asking to be saved. He taught me everything I needed to know to survive." I turned to Sarv to find her struggling to not fall asleep. "I think it's time for you to take your rest." She nodded before laying back down on her bed. "I'll check on you in the morning." Before I could turn off the night lamp She tugged on my sleeve again. I turned to look at her with confusion and she adverted her eyes still holding onto my sleeves. "Can you stay with me for the night? I-I don't want to fall off my bed again." Those words made my whole body paralyzed. "You want me to stay with you for the night?" I repeated her question to clarify and she nodded her head. Just for the night, I'll allow it. "K...but only because you said you'd fall off of the bed." With that, I spent the night with her.
