Sarvente's P.O.V

The next morning the news spread like wildfire about brutal deaths found in the alleyway near a supermarket. It raised awareness that something or someone might be a bigger threat than the last killer making everyone terrified upon seeing the bodies of the victims. The investigators were having trouble tracing the fingerprints of the aggressor on the victim's body noting that they must have worn specialised gloves to cover their trace.

That morning two girls were looking for someone with pinkish hair asking people from left to right. They wanted to make sure she was okay and that they wanted to thank her for what she did for the both of them. After a few hours of searching, they came across an elder woman who owned a fashion boutique. "Hello Ma'am, Can we ask you some questions?" One of the girls said, tapping lightly on Ms. Agatha's shoulder. She turned to look at them with a confused look. "Yes? What is it dear?" She replied. "Uh, We were wondering if you know anyone about seven feet tall with pinkish hair?" The other girl asked. Mrs. Agatha put a finger on her chin thinking about who they were referring to. "Hmm, I think you're talking about Sarvente the local nun. If you're looking for her she's that way," She pointed behind her. "Just follow the trail and see a pink-looking church from there." She said.

Not a second wasted they thanked Ms. Agatha and headed towards the church. Soon enough they reached their destination but were a bit hesitant to knock. Ruvyzvat saw them coming stayed hidden and waited to see if they were of no threat.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

One of them knocked on the door and they both waited. Heels were heard clacking closer and closer. "Coming!" A voice from inside was heard as the doors opened. The girl's eyes widened as they saw who was in front of them.

"It's her, It's her!" One of them said excited and relieved at the same time. Sarvente on the other hand was a surprise to see them both. The other girl already went ahead and gave Sarvente a tight hug as the other soon joined in. Although surprised, she eventually gave in to the hug wrapping her arms on both of them. Ruvyzvat lost interest after seeing this act and went back to patrolling. Both girls' stomachs started to rumble as they skipped breakfast to find clues about Sarvente. She asked them to follow her to the kitchen to make them breakfast as she too had not eaten. Both girls sat down on the chairs next to a small table. "What brings you two here? Did the Creators guide you here to this sanctuary?" Sarvente asked, cracking eggs and then mixing them.

"Uh, a lovely old woman who runs a fashion boutique, she helped us find you so we can thank you for saving us." The white-haired girl said, tucking some of her hair to the side.

"We were looking all morning." The other girl added. Sarvente turned around and smiled at them. "Glad I could help." She said and at that moment they noticed some small cuts on her face. They both gasped at the sight of it, they were small yet they were visible enough for them to see.

"Y-Your face it-its..."

"Oh, This?" Sarvente touched her cheek caressing it with her fingers. Seeing their worried look she quickly changed the topic to distract them. "Don't worry about it, how do you want your eggs?" She asked, smiling at them and reassuring them that she was fine. The girls allowed it as it seemed wrong to ask someone about their past trauma they know what it feels like. The white-haired girl raised her hand. "I like scrambled please!" She shouted then quickly felt embarrassed and luckily they spared her from any further embarrassment "We forgot to introduce ourselves. I am Ayane and this girl right here is Ruby." Ayane the caramel brown-haired girl pointed at the puffy white-haired girl beside her. "Hello." She said shyly. "Well, nice to meet you too. My name is Sarvente and I am the head nun of this sanctuary you two are most welcome here. You can come by anytime!"

"I gotta say you have one unique-looking church, I was not expecting it to be pink until I saw it," Ayane commented.

"We thought it was cute when granny told us that your church was pink," Ruby added.

The conversation continued as they ate their food. Sarvente save some for Ruvyzvat to eat later after his done patrolling. "So are you the only one managing this place?" Ayane asked, taking a sip from her cup of hot chocolate. Ruby also curious stares at Sarvente waiting for her answer.

"Uhm...Well...I'm not alone." She replied with a vague answer.

"So, there is someone else here who helps you manage this place?" Ayane asked, putting down her cup of chocolate. "Who are they?" Ruby asked with a glimmer in her eyes. Sarvente contemplated if she should say more than she already said. It would risk Ruvyzvat's identity if people were to find out she is hiding a criminal in her church. The news only makes it worse as the people tend to be unreasonable once the culprit is found. "Uhm, I don't know if I should tell because he is not exactly the social type, to be honest. He also prefers to be away from people he doesn't know." Sarv answered.

"Eh, so he's more of a mysterious type then? Can you trust him? From the sound of how you described him, he sounds like he's the kind who would hide a dead body inside your how's. No offense." Ayane said crossing her arms. Ruby nodded her head.

Sarvente thought about it. The progress of her relationship with Ruvyzvat from the last few months that they've been together. "I trust him with my life as well as he trusts me with his. Our first encounter may have been rough but once I got to know him. Once I got to know him, what I found was just someone who had been running his entire life lost and seemingly abandoned. He puts on a brave face but I see right through him...at first, I thought I would never win him over to trust me as we would not see eye to eye and whenever we did it was just chaos. But after that, he would open up to me bit by bit and somehow along the way I found myself doing the same. In times when I needed company and a shoulder to cry on he was there for me when no one else was. So yes I do trust him." Sarvente said. Her eyes show how confident she is.

The girls looked at each other and could only mutter the word 'Woah'.
