Damm this hangover, si Kenny na pina interview ko sa mga applicant. I went inside my private room and rest. I just need an hour. Hind ko namalayan at nka tulog ako. I groaned when I heard knocking na akala mo my sunog.
"What the hell Kenny!" sigaw ko sa kanya pagka bukas niya nng pintuan
"What? You've been sleeping for 2 hours now" nagulat ako pagkasabi niya
"2 hours? I told you to wake me up after an hour!" arghhh..f*ck Dami na tuloy akong hnd natapos
"I'm about to wake you up kanina, but I saw how you sleep peacefully with a smile plastered on you face. You were actually mumbling something, I don't know if it's strange or stranger" hindi ko alam pero nawala bigla yung inis ko, as I remember ang babaeng tinakasan ako kanina na dinala pa ang favorite pj ko.
"you look creepy Liv, why are you smiling at me like that? " nagtatakang tanong niya
Nawala tuloy ang ngiti ko.
"by the way, don't you think it's time for you to tell me where you are last night?" taas kilay niya g tanong.
"it's none of your business Kenny"
"did you finally get laid?" with matching giggle pa. Alam ko hnd niya ko tatantanan
"no, but I went to the penthouse with someone last night"
"really? But no s*x?!" taas kilay ko siyang tiningnan "what does she look like?" pa habol niya pang tanong
"oh, you know just your typical... gorgeous.. Sexy built like she models for Dior.." derechong sagot ko
"hmmmm.. So what happened this morning?" takang tanong niya
"she left" disappointed na sagot ko
"did you get her number, her name and address?" excited niyang tanong
"uhm. No"
"why?! was she weird?" hnd maimpinta ang mukha niya ngayon
"No. She wasn't weird. She was charming, lovely..cute.."I paused and sigh "I actually don't know"
"okay. Let me get this straight. You had a night with someone who you said is as charming, lovely, hot AF model like, but you didn't get her number?! ano nga tawag dyan? "
"cge ipamukha mo pa" taas kilay kung sagot sa kanya. Napailing na lang siya "you know I'm not looking for a relationship right now, I don't need it"
"maybe that's exactly what you need" rebatt niya pa. I rolled my eyes at him, I really can't win with him.
"did you finally get me an intern?"tanong ko
"oh, yes! She's really smart and more than qualified" excited niyang sagot. I know Kenny is really strict, mahirap paamuhin pag sa ibang tao, but he seems to like this new one.
Habang busy kami sa mga documents ay biglang bumukas ang pintuan.
"Dad?!!" gulat kng tanong at napatayo ako agad pumunta sa kanya to kiss him
"Kesha Liv, where have you been?" takang tanong niya
"sorry, I had a few things to take care of after Emilie's birthday last night"
"we'll, we've missed the lunch reservation, shall we just have a coffee and talk?" he asked while he's arms a crossed
"Certainly, Kenny can you please bring us coffee. Thank you"
"Right away, Ms. Dela Vega" as Kenny went out nagsalita nmn si Dad
"I like Kenny you know, he's a smart kid"
