"Stella? No, I'm not okay. Liv and Louise are-"
"Sisters," pagtatapos niya
"You knew?"
"Yes, pero ngayon lang din."
"Anong gagawin ko? I can't marry Louise when Liv is"
"Ate, kumalma ka muna. Take a deep breath first." She said and hugged me
"What do I do Ell"
"Hindi mo kailangan mag desisyon ngayong gabi Ate. Don't let anything or anyone cloud your mind or your judgement."
"It's just that she's Kesha Liv Atria Dela Vega and I'm engaged to Kierra Louise Atria. Bat kasi hindi sila magkapareho nang apelyido. Is it wrong to think na sana magpinsan na lang sila? Instead of being sisters?"
"This is so f*cked up. But now is not the time, so put on your game face mode. We'll deal with this tomorrow. Okay? I'm just here." Stella said
We're about to go back nakasalubong namin si Louise. Agad niya naman akong nilapitan.
"Hey, you okay? I saw you walking out of the door. What did she say to you? I swear-"
"It's not her, masyadong marami lang talaga akong nainom."
"Stella, could you please get your sister some water? Thank you."
"Of course," agad naman umalis si Stella
"Are you sure? If she said something to you, please tell me, I'll deal with her."
"Kierra just leave her alone, it's not her." I can see how concerned she is.
"Are you okay?" I asked
"Of course I am, she just p*sses me off that's all. "
"Kierra, just curious why aren't you using your father's last name?"
"We're half-sister. I promise to tell you everything but not tonight okay?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't know she was your sister."
"It's not your fault okay? She doesn't like to be an Atria and I don't like to be a Dela Vega. So kahit sino wouldn't know that we're sisters."
"I think, I have to call it a night."
"You're not feeling well? Are you sure it's not cold feet?" She said worriedly
"What do you mean?"
"Stacie we're both grown-ups and you know you can be frank with me right? If you're having second thoughts about this, us...about me. It's fine, please just be honest with me." She said worriedly
"It's not about you Kierra, I'm sorry it's just that it's a lot to take in. I want this merger to happen, I'm overwhelmed with all of this. I just feel forced and fake, I know it's for the sake of the contract. It's just hard for me, I'm adjusting and I'm sorry." Hindi ko naman siya masisi kung ganun yung nasa isip niya
"I understand, don't worry. I'm also worried about what she wants, she asked Mom to check if our companies can work together." Sabi niya na ikinagulat ko
"Wait, what I'm sorry? Does that mean we will work together?"
"Let's not talk about this tonight. I have to discuss this with my mother. She's my problem, not yours, okay?"
There's part of me, na nagsasabi this is my chance to tell her the truth. Pero paano? Everything is done. Pagsinabi ko ngayon magkakagulo lahat. Bukas aalis din kami, para magbakasyon at para makapag unwind. I'll tell her everything, when we get back from Bali.
