Stacie texted Kenny na mauna na siya sa bar since she had to settle everything there.
After almost 10 mins ay dumating din kami.
"Ms. Dela Vega," she said to acknowledge my presence
Lahat nang empleyado ay napalingon at mukhang nagulat pero agad naman nawala. I can feel my cheeks burning
"What would you like to drink? We just ordered some pitchers of margarita, if you like, " Mark asked
"Yes, that would be nice," i said and smiled a little dahil naramdaman ko pag tusok ni Kenny sa gilid ko.
"Liv here knows how to play pool, I'll check if they have available board," Kenny said
"Oh. I didn't know you played pool, Ms Dela Vega " tanong naman ni Mark
"Please, just call me Kesha tonight, I'm not your boss here," I said
"Alright, Kesha. Someone's been whining about waking up early tomorrow. " Tumingin naman ito agad ky Nicky
"Uuwi kasi ako sa probinsiya since it's weekend tomorrow" sagot naman ni Nicky
I didn't listen more, kasi they were going to argue again. I went and sat at the bar next to Stacie. She barely acknowledged me. How was it that she could act so calmly in public, while I could feel my heart beating so loud around her? She tilted her head.
"Are you okay, Miss? Did you eat? You should eat something before you start drinking." Tanong niya
"You're not the boss of me, you know," I said
"Hmm. I have the bar fund for tonight, Ms. Dela Vega. So I think we need some picky food before you start, " she said
I faced the counter. " I just need one, to calm my nerves,"
"Alright. Just one and then food, " she said, raising her eyebrow
"What are you two talking about?" Biglang sulpot ni Kenny
"Just ordering some snacks and drinks. Who wants some?" Tanong ni Stacie sa iba. Agad naman sila nagsilapitan, at ngayon ay prang nasa gitna ako. This would would be fun, right? Turan ko sa sarili
As time passes, everyone has their own world. The conversation started flowing. Stacie is the centre of attention and find myself smiling and sipping my drinks while nodding kahit hindi ko naiintindihan. As the music started to get louder, I checked my phone to see when would be the best time for me to slip away. Pero nabaling bigla ang attention ko ky Stacie nang my lumapit sa kanya na ikinagulat niya.
"You seem to be lost on your own thoughts," rinig kong tanong nng lalaki
"Huh?" Takang reaksyon namn ni Stacie.
"Let me guess, this is your first week? First time going out with your colleagues?" He asked
"Something like that," she answered
"Where do you work?"
"Dela Vega enterprises," she said plainly. Hindi niya ba ramdam na hindi interesado sa kanya
"Oh! Are you an assistant?" He smirked
"What?" Tass kilay niyang tanong
"What work do you do?"
"It's none of your business," she sipped on her drink at tumalikod sa kanya. Pero bigla nalang hinawakan niya ang braso nito. Uminit bigla ang ulo ko
"Damn! So feisty, I like it. If my PA was like you, I would like to make a few good positions with you. " That's it, lumapit ako agad.
