"I don't know what's the issue here. Why are two of my best department heads brought before me like children?!" I said irritably and looked at Kenny
"We attempted to have a meditation." Npasapo ako sa sinabi ni Kenny
"Explain to me again what's the issue here."
"Nicky called me stupid." Galit n saad ni Marky
"I did not."
"So what did you say then?" I asked
"I only asked him "why are you so stupid?" That's not calling him stupid, it's just a question."
"Kenny,"
"Don't look at me," pagwawalang bahala niya
"Fine. Nicky, take your team and work on the 3rd floor for the rest of the day"
"Yes, Ms Dela Vega." Agad naman siyang umalis at agad ko binalingan si Marky
"Marky, grow up this is not a primary school. Now get out."
"Yes, Ms. Dela Vega."
"Happy now?" I said to Kenny
"Yes, What?what do you want me to say?" Tanong dahil tinaasan ko siya nng kilay
"Just handle them, I can't with this riot or issues with the team anymore."
"I'm trying, unfortunately, Leo is on sick leave and without Stacie it's hard."
Hearing her name stung, we hadn't been in touch since the day happened in her apartment. Was I too much? Do I have to send an apology text? Was I wrong to feel hurt? And of all people why her? Why didn't she ask me to help her instead? I can't help but think or ask these questions.
"So, hire someone else"
"Oh, why I didn't think about that? I'm recruiting right now and you know me. I'm not just going to hire anyone. It's more work than I usually do." He sarcastically said
"So, work on it."
"Oh!"

"Sorry, just whining about it won't bring her back."
"Fine, I'll just focus on this after Friday."
"What's on Friday?"
"One of my favourite DJs will be on Static's. I've got tickets." He excitedly said
"Hmmm..Sounds fun."
"You could come if you like. I have a few extra."
"Sure, why not." I need a destruction
"Great, I'll come over to your penthouse and make sure you're not dressed like you're going to a business meeting."
"Whatever. Can you ask someone to bring me coffee?"
"Okay, I'll see you at six on Friday."
Friday came by so fast. Kenny is now here with me and being himself giving me a headache about what I need to wear.
