Billy pulled into the parking lot of an apartment complex to which he said was owned by a family friend who hooked us up with a room

"Well home sweet home." I got out and the heat in the air immediately made me sweat

"It'a so hot out here." Billy smiled and grabbed his suitcases and bags and so did I

It's a good thing this apartment came furnished because I'm so tired and I just want to take a nap

Then me and Billy brought in boxes of our extra stuff and I started to unpack

"Hey baby?" I stuck my head around the corner to see billy standing by the door with the car keys

"Yeah." I walked over to him and put my hand on the kitchen counter

"I'm gonna go pick up a couple thinks I'll be right back." I nodded and gave him a kiss then he left so I went back to unpacking

I turned on music while I hung up clothes and put things in drawers trying to get as much done today as possible

I heard the front door open and heard that Billy was struggling to bring in whatever he had brought in

"Billy you alright-" I stopped dead in my tracks and billy smiled at me

"Hey baby do you like them." My mouth was left wide open and I walked over and ran my hands across the blue paint on the surfboard

"I love them. Where you get them?" He handed me the blue one which was smaller than his red one

"The blue on was mine when I was younger and this was my current one when I lived here. I had a friend take care of them while I was gone because I planned on coming back. Just didn't know I was bringing my girl back with me." I smiled at him and gave him a kiss then I leaned the boar up against the wall

"Wow, it's pretty. And in my favorite color to." Billy smiled he seemed worried I wouldn't like it but I loved it

"So is mine." I walked over to billy and wrapped my arms around his waist and gave him a squeeze

"Thank you Billy." I gave him a kiss that turned into a make out that turned into a night of happy screams

"Billy I'm scared to surf." Billy raised and eyebrow and looked at the waves

"But you were so excited." I laid my board on the ground and sat on the beach towel next to it

"I know but now I'm scared." Billy kneeled next to me and grabbed my hands and made me look at him in the face

"If you don't want to, you don't have to."
I smiled and nodded at him then he gave me a kiss before he went to the water

I watched in amazement as he surfed waves I wouldn't dare do ever

After a while Billy was walking back over to where I was sitting

"Hey, baby." Billy bent over and grabbed my cheek, kissing me deeply

"Hey, you looked good out there." Billy sat down next to me and he was breathing heavily

"You look good everywhere." I smiled and rolled my eyes playfully

"Do you wanna try now?" I shrugged and billy stood up sticking his hand out to help me up

"I'm scared I'm gonna mess up." Billy laughed and picked up our boards, handing me mine

"You don't think I didn't mess up at first?"
He laughed a little before he continued talking "Of corse I messed up but I got up off my ass and went out there and surfed."

"I'm just not ready today, I'm sorry." He nodded and gave me a kiss dropping his board on the ground

"That's perfectly fine." I smiled at him then I heard a scream from beside us

"Oh my god! Billy I thought you left!" I looked over to see some girl who looked like she was on cloud nine

"Oh hey Julie." Billy looked annoyed already and I was already jealous

"What's got you back here so soon?" Billy rolled his eyes and wrapped his arm around my waist

"Me and my girlfriend moved up her after graduation." She stopped smiling and gave me a dirty look then looked back up at Billy

"I missed you." She walked up to him and put her hand on his bicep so I slapped her hand away

"The fuck is your problem?" I stepped away from Billy's side and stood in front of her

"My fucking problem is the fact that your hitting on a taken man. Does your life lack that much dick?" I was getting in her face and calling her out but she wasn't having it

"I've already had his dick so have fun with my sloppy seconds bitch." She stormed off and I had my mouth wide open

"You had sex with her?" Billy shook his head and tried to touch me but I pushed him away and put my towel and water bottle in my bag before I grabbed my board and walked away

"Baby I promise I didn't do anything with her." He had his board under his arm and he was trying to catch up with me but I was way ahead of him

"I don't believe you." It's a good thing that the apartment was only a walk away from the beach because I cannot get in a car with him right now

"Your gonna believe her over your boyfriend of two years?" I opened the door to the apartment complex and went straight to the elevator

"I don't know what to believe right now." The elevator dinged and the doors open so I sprinted towards the apartment

"Believe me." I unlocked the door and threw the board on the ground before I went to the bedroom to get some new clothes before I take a shower

"I'm giving you two minutes to explain to me what is going on before I get in the shower." I sat in the bed and Billy stood in front on me with sad eyes

"She was my so called best friend before I moved her but all she wanted was to have sex with me. I told her No many times but she kept pushing and pushing so eventually I told her to leave me alone and never talk to me again. I actually thought someone wanted to be my friend rather than just get in my bed. She would do stuff I wanted to do like surf and hang out on the beach but she only did those things cause she thought she had a chance with me. She must have gotten jealous when she saw you and said that. I would never have sex with her. I promise you." I looked at the watch on my wrist and his two minutes were up

"Do you love her or are you just putting a show on for me so I won't leave you?" Billy grabbed my hands and looked at me in the eyes

"Baby, I hate her so much, especially after what she just did. I love you and only you." I had tears in my eyes I can't tell if he's lying or not

"Do you even love me?" Billy chuckled because he thought I was joking but then he realized I wasn't

"Hon, if I didn't love you would I take you on dates? Would I move to California with you? Would I even be trying right now? Would I make love to you?" I shook my head "Okay and I do all of those things, so yes I do love you. I love you so much it worries me how much I love you sometimes. Sometimes I can't keep my hands or eyes off of you because I love you so much."

"I love you too." I stood up and grabbed my clothes before I went to the bathroom

"Billy?" He hummed and I turned around "you coming with me to the shower?"

"Yeah, yeah, okay." He tried to act cool about it but I knew a soon as I turned that corner he had a shit eating grin on his face
