First date

Description- Billy was late to your first date and you thought he was never gonna show

I got home with a bright smile on my face because for the first time in a while I had been asked out on a date and this time was special because I had been asked out buy the one and only Billy Hargrove

I started getting ready two hours before it was time for Billy to pick me up because I wanted this date to be perfect

I wore a short spaghetti strap velvety dress and curled my hair with a full face of makeup

I put on heels then put on some deodorant and sprayed perfume before checking myself out in the mirror and running downstairs to wait for him on the porch

I kept checking the time but when it hit a whole hour past the time he was supposed to pick me up I knew it was a sick joke

I rested my face in my palms at sobbed quietly to myself and after a few minutes I heard the sound of the creaking floorboards

I looked up and saw my mom who had worry in her eyes

"Are you okay, sweetheart?" I shook my head then she sat down next to me before pulling me close to her

"He stood me up." My mom sighed then she started to rub her hands up and down my arms to comfort me

I told her everything and by the time I got done I heard the sound of an engine revving and looked up to see Billy car pull into the driveway

"I'll let you two talk." My mom rested her hand on my knee for a second then got up and walked inside

I wiped away my tears and Billy walked up to the porch and sat down next to me

"Hey." I looked down at my lap because I didn't want to look at him

"What do you want?" Billy opened and closed his mouth a couple times then he finally found the words

"I'm sorry, I had to take Max to the arcade. I really didn't want to be late and make you cry, 'cause I really like you, (Y/n) and I didn't want to hurt you." I smiled then leaned into Billy's side and gave him a hug

"Thanks for showing up." Billy rested his head on top of mine and kissed my head

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." I leaned back and smirked up at him

"You are over an hour late." Billy shrugged and we both stood up

"At least I showed." Billy grabbed my hand and opened the car door for me

"So, since we missed dinner. Do you want to go to my house and watch a movie?" I nodded my head and Billy drove towards his house

When we got there nobody was home. We took off our shoes and sat on the couch to watch a movie

"Y-you look beautiful." I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder

"Thanks." Billy pulled a blanket up over us because I was starting to get cold

After a while I fell asleep on Billy by accident and when I woke up I was in a bed by myself

I looked around the bed and I was still in my dress so we couldn't have had sex and I not remember, then I looked over the bed and Billy was asleep on the floor

I smiled and gently shook Billy awake. When he woke up he was kinda confused

"What're you doing down there?" He sat up then I helped him stand up

"Sleeping." I shook my head and stood up from the bed

"You could've slept on the bed with me." Billy shook his head and rubbed his eyes

"No, it's okay." Me and Billy got our shoes on then Billy gave me his jean jacket because it's cold outside

The drive to my house was quite other than the song playing on the radio

When we got to the house Billy opened my door and walked me to the door

"Thanks for showing up." Billy nodded and turned to leave "Billy."

"Yeah?" I walked towards him and gave him a kiss on the lips

"See you Monday." Billy smiled and nodded then walked towards his car and stopped before sitting down

"See you Monday." I walked in my house and my mom was standing there smiling

"Have fun?" I shook my head at her playfully and realized I was still wearing his jacket

"Yeah I did." I went upstairs and went to bed thinking about the night before
