Description- You and Billy are on your way home from date when you see a girl with a baby and she's a single mother so billy goes on a rant to you about how men are shit
————————————————————————

I clinched onto Billy's arm and he wrapped his arm around me trying to warm me up but nothing helped

Eventually I warmed up to him and we was a woman walking with a baby on her hip I recognized her because I've seen her around before

I raised my hand and waved at her and she gave me a sweet smile but something else got my attention

I saw that the baby had a pacifier in her mouth that was about to fall out of her mouth and as soon as it fell out I caught it before it hit the ground

"Oh, thank you so much. That's her favorite and she would cry if hit hit the ground and she wouldn't be able to use it." I smiled at her and handed her the pacifier

"It's alright, have a good night." We started walking again and I was sad

"You alright, beautiful?" I nodded but still had a sad face

"It's just sad that she's so nice and she has to raise a baby all by herself." Billy's eyebrows furrowed and I leaned my head into his side

"Did the guy that got her pregnant leave?" I nodded my head and a billy shook his head

"Yeah my friend is related to her and she told me that when she found out she was pregnant he left he didn't tell her a goodbye or anything just completely ghosted her and she's the nicest person." Billy looked upset and he shook his head at the thought

"Men are pigs." I nodded my head in agreement with him

"She did seem pretty nice." I smiled sadly and when I looked at Billy's face he looked more mad then sad

"Why do you look so mad for?" Billy shook his head and I'm not sure if I imagined or actually saw the steam coming out of his ears

"It's just I think if you have the balls to have sex without protection or just have sex in all with the possibility to get someone pregnant, that if you actually do get someone pregnant to just be a decent human being, and stay around even if you don't want to be in a relationship just don't make them do it alone." I smiled because I didn't know billy thought about stuff like that

"Yeah she's lucky her parents were there for her cause if not god knows where she and that baby would be right now." The thought of somebody even considering leaving a woman after finding out she's pregnant with your baby makes billy mad

"It's also like if you get a girl pregnant and then get mad at them like that is a two person job why get mad at the person you did that to?" I've never seen this side of billy and honestly it's a turn on

"Men are just assholes." I unlocked the front door and went inside

"Yeah, you aren't though." I gave him a kiss and he wasn't having it

"I'm still mad because she's so nice but yet such a mean thing happened to her." Me and Billy went to bed with billy still very upset about the whole situation

I woke up to an empty bed billy nowhere to be seen

I walked downstairs to see billy sitting on the couch looking flustered

"What's up with you?" Billy looked up and shrugged his shoulders

"I can't stop thinking about that woman."
I nodded and sat down next to him

"I mean how can someone do that so someone? I know she's not the only single mother in this world and she's clearly good at it and loves her baby but, she shouldn't have to do it alone."
I looked up at the clock and it was four in the morning

"Yeah but at least her family was there for her." He nodded in agreement

"Yeah you don't really think about it until you actually see it." I nodded and leaned my head on his shoulder

"I promise you that when I get you pregnant I'll be by your side through the whole thing."
I smiled because he didn't say if he said when

"You wanna have a baby with me?" He nodded and wrapped and arm around me

"Of course I do. I love you so much." Billy kissed the top of my head and pulled me into a cuddle

"You know, your gonna be an amazing dad." Billy wrapped his arms around me tightly and we ended up falling asleep on the couch that night
