Description- You and Billy meet in a bar but Billy doesn't know your a mother
————————————————————————

I have been talking to this wonderful guy for about an hour and his name is Billy

I haven't had this much fun in a long time which really hurt me that I have to tell him the truth because it feels wrong to not let him know I have a baby

"Billy, I haven't had this much fun in I don't know when so it pains me to let you know the truth." He raised his eyebrows in confusion which just made me chuckle a little bit "Billy, I have an eight month old daughter."

"Oh, really? You don't seem like the type to be a parent." I smiled and nodded but I was mostly surprised he didn't just walk away like the others

"Yeah, all other guys I tell just pretend to drop their keys before they run." Billy shook his head and took a drink of his beer

"That's rude." I nodded my head and I could tell Billy had questions

"It's okay, if you have questions you can ask." He immediately started to ask his question

"I have one question and if you don't want to answer it you don't have to. Wheres her dad?" I sighed while smiling at him before I took a drink

"Her dad is my ex boyfriend who broke up with me before either of us knew I was pregnant. I never told him about it after I found out because I knew he'd want full custody of her and he didn't deserve to have a child at all." Billy nodded his hand and smiled

"I just thought of another one. Do you have a picture of her with you." I smiled and dug through my purse because I knew I did I never leave without a picture of her sometimes it gives me a boost to keep trying just by looking at her

"This was taken a week ago on my twenty fourth birthday." I handed him the picture of me holding her while we both were looking at each other laughing because moments before when my friends were singing me happy birthday she smacked her hands down on the cake thankfully missing the candles. Some people would be mad that the cake would be 'ruined' but I thought it was cute and we threw away the parts she touched so nobody would be eating something a baby touched

"She looks so cute. She looks identical to you." I nodded my head while we both looked at the picture

"Yeah, I'm so shocked that you're cool with this. Usually when I tell people I have a daughter they say they don't want to help raise another man's baby." Billy shook his head and handed me back the picture

"I would never do that. People need to realize when they go out looking for a partner there's always the chance they could be a parent. Doesn't mean they don't deserve to fall in love." I smiled at Billy and remembered that Mia was staying the night with my mom the whole reason I went out tonight

"Thanks. My mom took her for the night so I could go out." Billy smiled at me and we both stood up and left

"If you want I can drive you back here in the morning to pick up your car." Billy nodded his head and made sure his car was locked

When we walked through my front door it felt weird not having to be quiet because I usually have to be because of Mia

We walked upstairs and as soon as we got into my room we started

~time skip~

I have been having panic attacks all day because where me and Billy started going on dates and we've been dating for a month Billy is meeting Mia today and I'm terrified

I'm scared that Mia's not gonna like him or if she starts having a fit and Billy realizes he doesn't want to be with me anymore because of her

I dressed her in a little pink floral outfit with a little white bow and not a big one because I don't like big bows on babies heads

I heard a knock and I knew it was Billy so I placed Mia in her play pin so I could answer the door

"Hey, Billy." I gave him a hug and then I gave him a kiss before helping him in

"I got some flowers for her." I smiled and gave him another kiss

"I'll get her." I walked into the living room where her play pin is and picked her up before placing her on my hip and walking back to Billy

"Say hi." She waved but she only knows how to wave bye bye so we know she's just saying hello

"Billy got you flowers." Billy handed me the flowers and I noticed he got a smaller size bouquet for her because she's still little

I helped her get her hand around the bouquet and she smiled widely at the flowers in her hand

"Billy do you want to hold her while I put these in water?" His eyes got wide and I could tell he was nervous

"Um, sure." I handed her over then walked into the kitchen I figured if he held her and they were alone for a little bit that they would get comfortable around each other but I guess not

Mia started scream crying and Billy was yelling for me so walked back to see Billy holding her out far away from him and she was bawling

"Sorry I forgot that she don't like being with people without me that's why I'd have to wait for her to fall asleep before taking her to my moms for our dates." As soon as she heard my voice she stopped crying "See, she's just very attached to me."

"She loves music but specifically Elvis." I walked over to the cassette player and put on an Elvis song and she immediately got excited

I placed her down on the ground and she crawled over towards it and swayed back and forth on her hands and knees

"Billy, be honest even after she had a freak out after being alone with you for a few seconds do you regret dating me?" He shook his head and kissed me on the cheek

"No, it's normal she's a baby and the person she knows best and most is you, her mom. It's completely natural for her to cry especially since she doesn't know me. Plus she's adorable and you're, your own person." I gave Billy a kiss and while Mia was preoccupied me and Billy sat down on the couch so we could get some kisses in

"You know I'm so lucky to have you." Billy smiled at me and started to give me more kisses

"How did you get such a smaller bouquet?" Billy laughed and shook his head

"Well first I went to a flower shop and they didn't have little bouquets of flowers so I just bought some and when I got to my car I cut the stems and took away some of the flowers." I laughed at him because he was so sweet he did all that for Mia
