Description- Billy invites you to a basketball game
————————————————————————

I waited in the Camaro outside of the school because Billy had to go to basketball practice and I don't like sitting in there when he has practice because it feels awkward

I was focused on my notebook where I was doing homework to pass time and also so I wouldn't have to do it later. I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and when I looked up I saw the whole basketball team walking out of the gymnasium and they all had wet hair from showering after practice

I closed my notebook and put my stuff away before Billy got to the car because if I try and do homework while he drives the teacher won't be able to read my handwriting

"Hey, sweetheart." Billy leaned over and gave me a kiss as soon as he got in the car and when he pulled away I saw a few of the guys on the team staring over at us

"Hey, how was practice?" I barely managed to get out between kisses because Billy couldn't stop kissing me

"Good, I missed you though." He wrapped his arms around my waist and nearly pulled me into the drivers seat

"I missed you too." He let go of me and opened his gym bag that's sitting in his lap and pulled out a small rectangular piece of paper and handed it to me

"What's this?" Billy threw his stuff into the backseat and I read the paper

"A ticket for tonight's game, you don't have to go but I though maybe if you wanted to I didn't want to make you have to pay." I nodded and put the ticket into my bags side pocket. I've never been to a basketball game before because I'd have nobody to sit with, the bleachers are uncomfortable, and I don't understand what's going on, but Billy went out of his way to buy a ticket for me so I might come

"Okay, I'll think about it." Billy left the school parking lot and sped down the road toward my house

When we got to my house I grabbed my stuff out of the floor then me and Billy went inside and when we got inside my mom was excited to see Billy

"Billy, where have you been?!" My mom gave Billy a hug and I smiled at how much my mom loves him

"Been busy with work and basketball." My mom nodded and they both talked for about five minutes

"Alright, can we go now?" My mom gave me that stern mother look then looked back at Billy with a smile

"Well you know you're welcome here anytime alright, you're like a celebrity at our house, everyone loves you." I rolled my eyes and grabbed Billy's hand to drag him upstairs

"I don't know what kind of affair you've got going on with my mom but I think she's in love." Billy shook his head while smiling down at me

"I've just got that loving charm." I pulled all my stuff out of my backpack and sat it down on my desk

"Do you need my homework?" Billy sat down on my bed and moved all my stuffed animals out of the way before laying down

"No, game tonight so they don't make us do homework." I nodded and walked over to the bed and laid down on top of Billy with my cheek pressed against his chest

"If you don't want to come you don't have to, I don't want you to think that just cause I bought you a ticket means you have to show up, I'll understand if you don't want to." I looked up at Billy and I knew inside my head that I was going but I wanted him to be surprised when he sees me there

"I know you don't want to force me to do anything I don't want to." There was a knock on the door and seconds later my mom walked in and she completely ignored me and looked at Billy with a smile
