Description- You and Billy see something horrible when picking up Jimmy and finally decide to get full custody

Me and Billy have been sitting in the parking lot that we always pick up and drop off Jimmy for like an hour and a half and Lisa still hasn't shown up

"Billy, I'm starting to worry." He nodded his head and right as he did that she whipped into the parking lot and didn't even slow down at the turn

"I'll be right back." I gave Billy a kiss and opened the door. I started to walk towards Lisa's car and she rolled down her window

"You, know it'd be nice to drive a little safer with a five year old in the back seat." Lisa rolled her eyes at me and unlocked the car door

"It'd be nice if you'd stop telling me how to be a mother." I rolled my eyes and got Jimmy out of the back seat

"Next time don't be an hour and a half fucking late." She flipped me off and I flipped her off back

"Ow, momma." I looked at Jimmy and he was holding his stomach

"What's wrong?" I lifted his shirt to see what was wrong and he had a huge bruise on his stomach

"No, fucking way." I sat Jimmy down in the passenger seat and walked back over to Lisa's car

"What the fuck did you do?!" She raised her eyebrows and got out of the car

"What do you mean?" I pushed her and she pushed me back

"Why the actual hell is there a huge bruise on Jimmy's stomach?!" She scoffed and rolled her eyes

"He was being a brat because he didn't want to go out to eat so when we got home I hit him with a belt and he fell on the ground so I kicked him cause he wouldn't get up and he was crying." I slapped her across the face and by the time Billy got out of the car and broke up the fight she had blood all over her and all I had was a busted lip

"What happened?!" Billy had to stand between us but he had to have a harsher grasp on me because I'm on the verge of killing her

"This Bitch is abusing Jimmy!" Billy picked me up and put me in the car then him and Lisa argued for a little bit

"Momma, I don't wanna go see mommy again." Jimmy got on my lap and held onto me as tightly as he can

"It's alright buddy. Me and daddy won't let you near her again." I kissed him on top of the head and held him tightly just happy he's with us and is okay now

~time skip~

Right now I'm sitting on the floor with Jimmy playing with his hot wheels while Billy's upstairs and he's trying to get a lawyer

The whole time I just felt like crying but I pushed through for Jimmy

It was getting close to his bedtime so I helped him put toys up and we went upstairs so I could give him a bath and brush his teeth

"Are you sure you don't need an ice pack or anything? Because I barely touched you and you were in pain." He nodded his head and curled up into his blankets

"It hurt a lot then but now it's just a bruise." I nodded my head and gave him a kiss on the cheek

"Goodnight I love you. Remember that if you start hurting or anything to come tell me and daddy." He nodded his head and I left his room then went into me and Billy's room

"Billy, you okay?" He shook his head then raised his head off his hands and I saw that he had been crying

"Jimmy's whole life I've tried to keep him from going through what I went through and now I've failed." I shook my head and wrapped my arm around him
