~Billy's POV~

When I woke up In the hospital after the whole ordeal with the upside down, my father clung to me and cried, after that point I thought maybe that he'd quit hitting me, maybe after almost losing his son that he'd treat me with more respect and kindness but as soon as I was done healing he started to hit again

I've been so tired of his shit for a while now, I've just been to scared to leave or call the cops because of Max and Susan. If I leave he might start to hit one of them, and if I call the cops and he gets arrested how will they get by? We already make very little money as it is but the most money coming in is from my father

But at this point I'm done being a punching bag. I'm done being used to release anger and try and end the world, I've been used way too much in my life and I'm done

As soon as him and Susan left for a date I called the cops and told them about the years of abuse on me and my mother and how I have proof

I showed them Polaroids I've taken of bruises and cuts he's left on me so as soon as Neil and Susan got home he was arrested. Of course I had to go to court but as soon as he got put in prison I was out of that hell hole town

I've been moving into my new apartment and after I finished I went to get a cigarette but I saw I was out of them

I was walking out to my car and I looked across the street at the many of homes and I saw the most beautiful girl checking her mail before walking back inside

I quickly forgot about cigarettes and my attention moved to my first one night stand back in California

I knocked on the door and as soon as she answered she looked behind her then back at me

"Hello? Can I help you?" I smiled then leaned against the doorframe and when I looked down at her hand I didn't see a wedding ring so I smiled

"Hi, I just moved in across the street and we'll I don't really know anyone." She crossed her arms and smiled at me while shaking her head

"If you're looking for meaningless sex then you're not gonna find in here, I don't do that." I smiled while shaking my head at her

"Why not? It's fun, you can just sleep with whoever you want then go back to your regular life, you don't have to worry about dates, kids, or anything." She scoffed at me and leaned against the doorframe

"Sorry, I guess I'd rather spend my time finding someone to grow old with rather then having an orgasm that won't last longer than a minute." She closed the door and I was kinda shocked because I don't usually get rejected

~(Y/n)'s POV~

I honestly didn't want to close the door on him. He was really cute and seemed nice. But he also seemed like a whore

He seemed like one of those narcissistic assholes that only care about getting laid as much as they can before they have to tie down. But he could be nice to a girl if he wanted to

I watched him walking down the driveway then I ran out the door and caught up to him

"Hey, if you promise me that you won't ghost me or just leave me after sleeping with each other, I'll go on a date with you." He smiled at me and nodded his head

"You free tonight?" I nodded my head and he smiled to himself "Be ready by six."
