Nightmare

Description- After what happened at Starcourt on Fourth of July you don't let Billy out of your sight

Ever since the day Billy fully healed we've taken turns sleeping over at each others house because I've grown to be anxious and scared when Billy's not around because I don't know if he's okay, if he's hurt, and if something happens again can I get there in time to have Steve and my brother Jonathan help me save him, if it weren't for them seeing how I was reacting to Billy on the doorstep to deaths door they probably wouldn't have thought to save him, then he'd be gone

The more I thought about it the more anxiety filled my body and I felt as if I was going to explode with fear and panic, but eventually I got to Billy's house and when I knocked on the door Susan answered

"Oh, hey, (Y/n), I completely forgot that tonight was your night to come over, Billy's in his room taking a nap." I smiled and nodded wondering how such a sweet woman could be with such a heinous man

I walked into Billy's room and when my eyes laid on him he was laying on his back, with his eyes closed, he looked peaceful, he looked dead

I walked over to him and placed my finger under his nose and felt him breathing but it wasn't enough, I had to hear his voice, I had to see his eyes, I had to before I'd have a panic attack

"Billy, wake up, please Billy, wake up for me." I shook his shoulders and seconds later he moved and his eyes opened and looked at me, his blue, alive eyes

"What's wrong?" I sighed while shaking my head at him

"Nothing, just telling you that I made it." Billy placed his hand on my hand and gave me a look that told me he knew I was lying "Okay, when you were sleeping you looked dead."

"I'm sorry, but see I'm fine." He hugged me and I smiled because I love how he's realized that he wasn't the only one effected that night

"I know but I still get pretty scared." Billy  nodded and held me tighter then pulled away

"I was gonna get a shower before you came over but I was so tired I decided to take a nap." I nodded and Billy got up from the bed and because he wasn't wearing his shirt I could see the light pink scar on his side

~flashback~

I stood at the ledge of the main floor of Starcourt  and looked down not knowing what the hell Billy was doing

When I saw the Mind Flayer stick a tentacle out at Billy and Billy reached up and caught his hands in it I wasn't even thinking I just let out the loudest, most blood curdling scream I've ever let out in my life and before I knew it I couldn't even stand up

My legs felt like they couldn't work, I grabbed onto the railing as I fell to the floor and watched in horror as the Mind Flayer stuck out another tentacle and hit Billy in the side

"Steve, Johnathan, do something, please!" They both looked down at me for a second to see I had fell to the floor and I was bawling my eyes out, and that's all they had to see for them to go down there and pull Billy away

Will got in the floor next to me and hugged me while we watched them pull him away and Jonathan getting hurt when the Mind Flayer tried to hit Billy again. One of its sharp claws or teeth I couldn't tell what it was grazed Jonathan's side then missed Billy because right as it went to hit him they finally pulled him away

I saw Steve pull off some items of clothing from his sailor outfit to wrap around Billy's injured hands and Jonathan took off his button up to hold to Billy's side so he won't bleed out
