Long chapter ahead.

"Have you done anything to improve your relationship with Laura since she came?" Kehinde asked Greg, who was sitting opposite him in his office.

Greg tried recalling instances but with nothing coming to mind, he could only shake his head. Kehinde groaned.

"You know how important this is to the business, you have to get her interested in you-"

"But she's already head over heels for me."

Not to brag, he really wasn't trying to brag, she said it herself.

"And it could quickly dissipate. If she sees you aren't putting any effort into the relationship, she could give up on you and focus on someone else, I believe you know how women are." Kehinde looked up at him and took a pause, "Take her on a date. Buy her jewelry; diamonds. Kiss her. Anything you know would make her heart beat faster. Sho gbo?"

"Okay daddy."

"Good, also..." Greg was about getting up to leave when his voice stopped him, "I heard about what you got caught doing at your new school. Do NOT mess this up Gregory, stop that stupid attitude of yours before I make you regret it! Leave."

Greg hurriedly left to his room to meet Laura, in his hoodie and some shorts.

"Hey..." She seductively walked over to him, "what's up?"

He forced a smile, "how about us going shopping? Just the two of us."

Laura grinned, "really?!"

"Yes."

She squealed "I love you so much Greg." She cupped his face and gave him a peck on the lips. Greg, feeling uncomfortable, forced himself to mutter the next words.

"I love you too."

"You know..." She pulled him to the king-sized bed laying magnificently in the middle of the room and sat on it. "I heard about this girl you were caught with-"

"Laury..." That stupid nickname was his way of making her heart beat faster sometimes, "that won't happen again. I know how many times I've hurt you and I apologize. From now on, I will be your faithful boyfriend and stick to you only... I love you, Laury."

She blushed, "Greg..."

He pushed her down to the bed, "shhhh" he had to make her forget about this or suffer from his father's punishments. His lips went to her neck, "just forget about it..." He whispered into her ear.

...

"Look what you did to me Greg! I can't even walk properly." She said, staggering as she walked. His hands held her waist to keep her in place.

He laughed dryly, "I couldn't help it."

He really couldn't, he didn't know what was wrong with him. His mind always seemed to wander to that beautiful lady whenever he was on Laura, he hoped she hadn't caught him though.

Laura, on the other hand, definitely had. When he was almost undone, he had muttered this Sandra girl's name repeatedly. She felt like she was being used, a replacement but she didn't say anything about it. For the many times they had done it since she returned, his eyes were closed and he saw her as Sandra. It broke her but she kept her mouth shut.

"Should we get this Greggy?" She asked him, pouting as her finger was stretched towards the necklace that lay in the display case, "it's so pwetty."

He hated when she acted childishly like this and he hated the nickname she had for him but he covered it up with a smile.
