Greg's POV

"You're a disappointment!" My father said to me before groaning, "ugh! Pack your bags, you leave for the states tomorrow!" He said and I raised my head up.

"But-"

"Shut up!! Get some senses and maybe I'll let you return to Nigeria. Get out!!" He said.

"But daddy, I-"

"I said GET OUT!!" He said and I walked out of his office in anger. I stormed to my room to see Laura still sulking on my bed before she ran towards me.

"Greggy, I- I'm sorry if I got you in trouble, I shouldn't have-" she went on talking and I held my forehead in frustration.

"Leave." I said calmly.

"What?" She asked.

"I said leave my room, you're giving me a headache."

She held her chest and burst into tears, "you're the one who cheats and you're now telling me to leave? What did I do to you?!" She asked and I walked to my wardrobe, not even listening to her rant.

"Fine, you can keep standing there and looking at me like a fool. I don't care, I'm leaving anyways." I said.

"What?" She asked.

"What more do you want to hear? I'm leaving! I'm leaving Nigeria tomorrow! Because you can't just stop acting like a- ugh!!" I turned back to arranging my clothes.

"I never meant to... I'm sorry Greggy, it was a-"

"And stop with that stupid nickname!" I said and suddenly remembered her, Sandra.

I pulled my phone out to text her and although she was angry and wanted to break up with me, I had begged her to meet with me at an hotel, at least I could see her before leaving the country.

My father yelled at me for making Laura cry again and I went to the bar, to drink my guts out and take in some drugs, just to make me forget everything before I met with her again, everything else... Was history.

I won the bet, the bet I had made on sleeping with Sandra and I was sent abroad. I got into drugs, buying weed and trafficking which made my father more disappointed. I could spend millions, just to get drugs, I got so addicted, I had to go to rehab for 6 months. My father was angry, which was why he refused to help me build my business. He hated me, my mother always insulted me on the phone but Laura still stuck.

I was so ashamed of myself, I couldn't bring myself to see her again. But she was always on my mind, her face, her curvy figure, her voice, her everything.

I couldn't find myself getting to it with another woman after her, I couldn't even go with Laura. She just had that effect on me.

I returned to Nigeria after completing my studies and built my hotel chain... The Wale Hotel Chain, to the biggest it was today.

I was proud of myself and my achievements and I went searching for Sandra... To apologize but I couldn't find her.

I went to her parent's house but they had relocated, I couldn't find her anywhere.

Fast-forward to today and I'm seeing her, standing in her beautiful glory in front of me, shock written on her face. My Beautiful, standing right in front of me.

I scanned her figure, it seemed her hips had broadened and her small breasts had gotten bigger... I mean, average at most. I shamefully pulled off her clothes with my eyes. She had on a jumpsuit that held on tightly to her hips and bum like a second skin. She was looking good. I could feel myself already aroused.

I felt that feeling again. The feeling I always had whenever I was with her. Love?

But... She was the assistant to the owner of Johnson Textiles? Or was she the Miss Johnson herself?

"Miss Johnson..." I got up and stretched my hand for a handshake but she stepped back and almost tripped, I held her arm to pull her back up and steady her but she shook my hand off and an expression of fear crossed her eyes before she got stable and cleared her throat and sat down, not even shaking my hand.

I smirked and sat back down, straightening my suit.

"Mr Adewale, it's..." She chuckled very dryly, "if I say it's a pleasure to meet you then that would be a lie. But it sure is a big surprise. Wale, Adewale? Why didn't I add it up?"

I laughed, "but it is nice to meet you again. How are you doing?" I asked, leaning in but she shifted her chair back and frowned coldly.

"Let's get to business..." She said, keeping her face cold as ice, "and keep this as professional as possible."
...

An hour later, we were done with our meeting and with a 'thank you for your time', she got up to leave when I got up with her.

"Beautiful..." I called after her and walked towards her while she raised a brow, "I'm... I... I'm so sorry" I said and she scoffed, "I really am... I... I know what I did to you, I'm sorry." I got to my knees and put my hands together to plead with her, "please..."

"Please what? Forgive you? Forget everything? Mr Adewale, I have already forgiven you but I cannot forget what you did to me..." Tears had clouded her eyes and she clenched her fists while shaking, "I hope we never meet again." She turned to leave.

Had I really scarred her that much?

My eyes rested on her figure as she walked away and I swallowed while grunting.

This is it and trust me, the real deal just started. Buckle your seat belts tight cuz we've got some drama coming up at the next stop!
