Third Person P.O.V.
It is a cloudy day, and Ruby, Coco, Pyrrha, Nora, Neo, and Cinder are following a mossy stone tile path through the wilderness. Nora skips.
"Another day, another adventure!"
Coco, Pyrrha, and Ruby read the map while Nora, Cinder, and Neo continue alongside them. Ruby looks up.
"What's on the agenda today?" Pyrrha shrugs.
"Walking." Nora tilts her head side-to-side.
"With a side of...?" Coco takes off her shades and inspects them for dust, then puts them back on.
"Walking." Ruby sighs.
"Haven is a lot farther away than I thought."
"Ruby? How long did you think this journey was going to take?" Ruby throws her hands up.
"I don't know! I grew up in a small area; I've never been this far away from home!" Pyrrha raises an eyebrow.
"Right but... how long?"
"Maybe like, uh... two weeks?" Coco smirks.
"Y/N mentioned that it takes him only four days to go from Kurosuna to Argus, though we failed to account for destroyed paths and the lots of Grimm. But we don't have to keep this trip boring. We can do something, like telling stories or singing."
Ruby looks up again after a beat and notices something ahead.
"Hey, what's that?"
Nora jumps onto a slightly fallen post of a fence to get a closer look at a wall and building ahead. Pyrrha frowns.
"That's... strange. I didn't think we'd be hitting another village for a few days." Nora tilts her head.
"Are those buildings... damaged?"
"We should search for survivors!" Pyrrha puts the map away and all go running into the village, with Nora leaping onto the wall and to a rooftop from there. They discover the town to be empty. Ruby lifts a fallen plank of wood to find only plant outgrowth underneath.
"Anything?" Nora shakes her head.
"Nothing over here!"
Pyrrha shouts, "No one over here, either!"
Neo raises an eyebrow as Pyrrha nods.
"It almost seems like... the town was abandoned. It definitely was not Grimm or bandits simply because there's not really much old dried blood around or signs of fires. If anything from a lot of the rats and roaches crawling around, it seems like this place was struck by a disease and due to safety concerns, it was wiped off the map."
Ruby looks around, feeling unease in the wind.
Nora shouts, "Hey, I think I found something!"
Ruby turns and rushes over. Nora, Pyrrha, Coco, Neo, and Cinder are looking at a town sign. Nora moves the ivy growing over it to the side to read what it says.
"Oniyuri? Never heard of it." Ruby shrugs.
"Me neither."
"I have." The other five look at Cinder, surprise on Nora and Ruby's faces. "You might think of it as Anima's Mountain Glenn, had it never been completed. Years ago, the richest members of Mistral were unhappy with how the Kingdom was being run." As Cinder speaks, they look around, showing the various unfinished buildings, disrepair and neglect of the village. "Frustrated with the council, they pooled their resources together to build their own city, with their own laws. They hoped that one day, it could maybe even become its own Kingdom. Many thought it would be the future."
