Chapter 51

Penelope's POV Next day

"Doll, you sure you're okay in there? You said you felt sick and just ran in there. You okay?" I sigh and stand up from the floor and open the door. "Yea I'm okay Cherry, I just keep feeling so fucking nauseous and I've been like this for quite awhile but I thought it'd go away but it just gets worse" She nods and looks at me weirdly.

"When was the last you had your period?" I scoff. "Like... uhhh" When was the last time I had my period? "Umm I don't remember" Lilly walks into view. "Are there any symptoms that you've been experiencing that have been weird?" I shrug. "Just nausea" Lilly nods. "Have you been more tired lately? More than usual? Or sensitive nipples?"

I open my mouth then close it before opening my mouth again. "I have, for both of them plus nausea. Why?" Lilly looks at me expectedly. "No I can't be pregnant, I mean I would love to but what if I fail again?" Cherry and Lilly shake their head.

"It wasn't your fault that you lost your first baby with Grayson. You were under so much distress, it was only natural. How 'bout this, I'll go to the pharmacy and get a pregnancy test, okay?" Lilly says and I nod. "Could you please?" Lilly nods and holds my shoulder gently.

"Of course, don't worry about the results either way. You have Grayson and us" I smile and nod, making her smile softly before leaving. Cherry turns to me. "Let's get you ready huh? You're getting married today" I smile and nod. "Yea"

Cherry got my makeup done while Amelia was prepping my dress to be taken to my house, that's where I'll get dressed and fully get ready for my wedding, when Lilly came back with a box of pregnancy tests. "Here, go and take one" I nod and stand up and take it from her hand.

"You look beautiful by the way" I smile at her compliment. "Thank you" She smiles and nods and I walk into Cherry's bathroom and close the door, opening the box of pregnancy tests. Taking one out and placing the box to the side, I pee on the stick and place it on top of a piece of toilet paper on the sink's counter.

I take out my phone and put in a timer of five minutes and walk out. "Please do my hair now so I can be distracted" The girls nodded and I took a seat again and Lilly came up behind me and started doing my hair. I asked her to do a half-up half-down, which is simpler than what my dress is but it's okay.

The timer did ring out while Lilly was doing my hair but I had told her to finish. I'm too fucking nervous to look at the results. Would I be happy or disappointed if I get a negative? Or would I be scared if I get a positive?

"I'm done" I look back in the mirror to see the finished look. I smile and meet her eyes in the mirror. "Thank you, now I should go and check" The girls nodded and I get up and walked into the bathroom and avoided looking at the test.

"You got this pen, doesn't matter what you get. Negative? Grayson and I can always try again. Positive? We'll be happy and I'll just be  paranoid to loose the baby but we'll be okay, we'll be a family" I take a deep breath and grab the test and look down. "Oh"

I smile as Cherry finished buttoning the dress around me. "Oh my fucking god doll! You look so beautiful! Grayson is gonna cry when he sees you, speaking of Grayson. Ready to reveal your dress to him" I smile as I turn to her. "Yea, I'm fucking ready" Cherry leads me to a chair and I sit down and she puts my heels on.

"You did bring my flats, right? I ain't dancing in heels today" Cherry laughs and stands up after putting my heels on. "Of course I did, I ain't having the bride be in pain today, especially on her wedding day. And my god, I've forgotten to say but this house is so beautiful, he really does love you" I smile and nod, blushing slightly.
