Buffy Anne Summers was finished.

She had handled every burden, never buckling or breaking.

For five years she had been under constant torment as The Slayer, but finally, she was free.

She had found her freedom and her peace in death.

That peace was short-lived.

It had only taken 147 days for it all to be torn away.

Once again, Buffy found herself trapped in Mystic Falls... except with one major difference.

The Fallen Slayer Prophecy had come true.

She was no longer an ordinary Slayer.

She had no idea what she was anymore.

But her own worries never mattered.

She was the oldest, so she took all the weight of her family.

She took the heavy responsibility no one else could shoulder.

Until her dying breath, she was the strong one. She was the one who carried it all, never faltering under the weight.

Yet, despite the smiling faces around her...Buffy couldn't help but wish she was still dead.

Because to her... Mystic Fall was Hell.

Would the ever-growing pressure to be who she was, finally cause her to break? Or would she continue to keep working and keeping others safe without a complaint?

Would the ever-growing pressure to be who she was, finally cause her to break?

Or would she continue to keep working and keeping others safe without a complaint?

No matter how much it was killing her under the surface.

Would the weight of expectations from her friends and family, finally send her falling into darkness?

How long would it take for her to finally snap?

How long before she stepped away from the expectations and toward something darker?

With someone who somehow understood her more than anyone ever had.

The person destiny had declared as her one true equal.

Without even meaning to, would her friends and family send her flying straight toward the Mikaelsons?

Would fate win?

More importantly, did Buffy actually want it to?
