Elena gasped loudly as she finally returned to consciousness only to wince as a sudden throbbing pain filled her head.

It felt like her head had been run over by a truck.

Wincing she rubbed her forehead before panic started to settle in as she remembered the whole reason for the pounding in her head.

Anna had attacked her and Buffy.

Gulping down her terror, Elena nervously glanced around, taking in her new surroundings.

She was in a run-down motel room, with a sleeping figure in the chair across from the bed.

Sensing the danger she was currently in Elena started searching desperately around the room for her cousin.

As she glanced at the bed beside her eyes widened as she spotted the blonde-haired Slayer.

Buffy was still passed out but unlike Elena, she had been handcuffed to her bed.

With a shaky breath, Elena tried to climb off the bed as quietly as possible. She needed to get to Buffy.

Crouching down in front of her, Elena winced at the sight of the huge purple bruise forming on the side of her face.

It was not a pretty sight.

"Buffy..." She whispered gently trying to stir her awake "Buffy..."

"I wouldn't wake sleeping beauty if I were you." A voice suggested from behind her.

Elena lets out a shocked gasp and spun around only to come face to face with the man she had thought was sleeping.

The vampire merely smiled at the terrified girl before looking into her eyes "Don't try to escape. Don't try to uncuff her. Don't even move. Do you understand?"

Compulsion.

Clearly, this guy hadn't even thought that she might be on vervain.

Choosing to play along, Elena just nodded "I understand."

Assuming he had gotten what he wanted, he smirked smugly before turning his back on her.

Elena clenched her jaw before quickly reaching into Buffy's boot. Sure enough, her emergency blade was in there.

So not only did he think they could be compelled, but he had assumed Buffy wasn't a threat so hadn't bothered to check her for weapons.

Without hesitation, she grabbed the blade and stabbed it right into the center of his back.

As he dropped howling in pain Elena quickly focused back on Buffy. She didn't have time to panic right now. She started yanking on the cuffs around Buffy's wrists trying desperately to set the girl free.

However, her attempts were futile as the motel room door slammed open revealing a frustrated-looking Anna watching the situation unfold in disbelief.

"Seriously?!" She exclaimed to her partner as she stormed into the room heading right over to Elena roughly grabbing by the arm and hauling her away from Buffy.

Her partner, Ben, who was still attempting to get the dagger out of his back groaned in pain as he turned to look at Anna "I told her not to move. I did that eye thing you taught me."

Anna couldn't help but scoff as she started dragging Elena towards the bathroom "You forgot the lesson about vervain. Her cousin dates a vampire, Ben, duh!"

"Who are you?" Elena yelled as she continued to struggle  "What do you want?"

Anna merely rolled her eyes at the question "Doesn't matter." She muttered before she shoved Elena into the bathroom and locked the door.

Elena let out a loud yell and tried to yank the door open but sure enough, it was locked. Leaving her trapped inside.

Letting out a frustrated huff Elena froze as she heard soft breaths from behind her. Someone else was here.

Turning her head her eyes widened in horror as she spotted Bonnie lying unconscious in the bathtub.

"Bonnie! Oh, my god."

Stefan was in a frantic state as he stormed into the Boarding house library.

"Anna took Buffy and Elena." He said instantly as he spotted Damon still flipping through Emily's Grimoire as he sipped on a glass of bourbon.
